And how many did kyle win during his championship run.......: )

kyle won two events in winning his K&N east cost stock car championship. only drive for diversity driver to win the championship and he did it in his rookie year. first year ever in stock cars.

so...just how many championships have YOU won?

Austin was just paying Kyle back for homestead 2012. Kyle needs to put his big boy pants on. I'm not a Larson hater, just not riding the band wagon quite yet.   who will have a better year? Sliced bread Larson or Danica?

i have one motorsports championship as a driver and 4 as a crew member.

but enough about me.

the question posed by 21wfo was how many wins did larson have in his championship year. since i figured he meant larsons most recent championship in stock cars i answered it that way. should i have included his sprint car championships as well?

there is always a fucknuckle like you trying to impress themselves by thinking they are making fun of someone else.

what flucking race were you watching?

i guess you think it is your fault when someone drives all the way down across the track to block you and puts you down on the apron and you touch.

so was austin also paying back his team mates ryan newman in the 31 and brian scott in the 33 when he took them out as well?

20 year old Alex Bowman from Tucson AZ and USAC who finished 23rd, will have a better year than Danica.

But on the upside, I'll bet he made a heck of a lot more money and was sleeping in a much nicer motorhome!   just saying, lol.

The 2011 Truck Series Champ, 2012 Nationwide ROY & 2013 Nationwide Series Champ finished 9th.

Are you talking about grandpappy's boy? For all the championships you spouted off, he drove like an idiot Sunday night.  And taking the pole was BS and you know it. Wonder if he wears little cowboy boots with toy spurs on them too, like I did when I was five years old.

God I can only hope that freaking silver spoon feed kid who is a drug store black cowboy hat wearing stooge get sh-t canned very, very soon.  Took out half the field twice and then goes un-scathed to finish 10th I believe?  God that kid chaps my ass in the worst way.

I don't care for the freaking silver spoon fed drug store black cowboy hat wearing stooge either, but he ain't going anywhere for the next 30 years so get used to it.

This stuff that oozes out of Daytona these days that you people are calling racing doesn't matter one bit.  Larson at Daytona is like a super model living in a heffer barn.  We can only hope he fails every day like this past weekend so he starts driving real race cars full time again.

I agree completely, let's get Larson, Stenhouse, and all of our old sprint car drivers out of those damn taxicabs and back into real race cars.   I'm sure Childress can come up with more grandkids with cowboy hats to fill all those empty seats.

Larson was a good sprint driver but last night he looked like

Morgan Shepard

dont deny it folks it's true

he isn't in good equipment and I don't think he will hit his ass all year but I'm hopefull  that he makes it Smile

Here comes the bullshit already.  Good equipment, bad equipment...DRIVE THE FREAKING CAR......If you can't, go home....  Making ecuses already.  PUHLEEASE...................

The big question is if dirt talent translates to pavement talent... worked for Smoke, but Kinser & Swindell didn't do so great....

I agree that it would be nice to see Kyle, Tony, Kasey, and Rick, among others...racing full time in sprints. However I would hope that we'll see Kyle racing when he can in a sprint just like Tony.

So we get the best of both world....money from Nascar going back to sprints fielding teams and the driver racing on dirt everyonce in a while.

It's a win win.

I'm amazed that people continue to describe the brief NASCAR career of Steve Kinser as a failure.  Have you all forgotten the piece of garbage he was driving?  The only good thing that came from that "mistake" was that Quaker State had enough sense to follow him back to "real racing!"  I still use their product!

also worked pretty well for jeff gordon and aj foyt. kasey khane ain't do'in so bad either.

oh and jimmie johnson came from dirt off road trucks...but it is still dirt.

hey didn't carl edwards and clint bowyer start in dirt modifieds?

the thing is...most of the guys in the upper classes of american racing got their start on dirt.

If Kyle Larson was to 'fail' as bad as Kinser, people would shit themselves.  Bad equipment, good equipment.  DRIVE THE CAR.......     JR. has had good equipment, and it has been so damn long since he won, they are treating it like it was his first ever victory.  Jeff Gordon has the same equipment, and what has he done lately?  NOTHING.     DRIVE THE CAR....................If Larson would have signed on with Hendricks, they would bitch that he has the 4th stuff in line.....C'mon, enough, just drive the car.........No built in excuses.........

Dale jr is the most overrated driver in the history of nascar he has had top equipment from the start if your a talented driver you will be competitive in what ever you drive. Look at Kurt Busch he drove the 51 car and made it competitve with no money. Kyle Larson will be fine I wouldn't be surprised if he won a race or two this year.
