Unemployed truck driver looking for driving job, local or short haul (that's what I was doing for 8 or 9 of the last 10 years with Schilli) in the McPherson, KS area. I quit my job after 10 years Friday. Well actually I quit on Friday morning and then changed my mind. Then I think I was tricked and probably fired. After they wanted me to go to Baltimore MD for the weekend. Indiana and back is far enough east for me. Then they offered me a North Carolina for the whole weekend. Both runs were abut 500 miles for the whole (3 days including Friday) weekend. I've been home every weekend except for the last two weeks and they were not going to start this now. They left me no choice.

Well I am kind of hitchhiking home right now. Actually my step son was going to Niles, MI and picked me up and were working our way back to McPherson as soon as he unloads here in Niles.

Wish me luck and say a prayer that it won't take long to get back after it.

Brian your not trashing the site, that's crazy! Your one of the best things that has come along since it was start. Your insight and stories are well worth reading. The Suchy car investigating alone was fun and interesting. The site needed some new blood. The forum seems to be a lot more active now than

ever.
