Saturday, April 14 marks the return of the ASCS Sprint Cars to Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale.
Held during NASCAR weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, last year’s event featured a surprise visit from Nextel Cup Series star Carl Edwards.
Carl competed in the ASCS division that night, winning the B-feature and advancing by several competitors in the Championship event to finish 10th.
But the question becomes, will a NASCAR driver surprise the Cowtown crowd again this year?
All indications right now are yes, there will be.
It will not be officially announced as to who the driver is, due to unforeseen last-minute changes that can happen with big-time drivers.
But you can be guaranteed to have a great time at the track, and races start a few hours after the scheduled conclusion of the NASCAR Busch Series event at TMS that day.
