Yeah, the rumored "new" driver would have less than 1/2 the talent of what they have now!

Wouldn't make any sense after the success they've had this season, but then again not much has lately...lol. Last official word I saw was on October 26th.
"Mark Smith, another driver who is part of the growing rumor pool, said Tuesday things are still status quo with car owner John Zemaitis. Smith claimed he has not been told of any changes." -Jerry Reigle

Correct me if I am wrong..but didn't he work at Zemco? I know he doesn't work there any more. he now works at Mike Watler's shop in Selinsgrove making and fixing sprint car frames. I would be shocked if he still is in the Zemco ride next year since he left Zemco to work for someone else....I hope I am worng though....heck of a driver!

Maybe Dewease'll be in it... Dewease and Postapuck have parted. As well, Eric Stambaugh and Floyd Swope have parted. All three cars may be done period.

Ok, well as of 7:00 last night, he is thinking that he will be with Pete, so I'm gonna go with the actual driver on this one...

Mark Smith is looking for a 410 Sprint car ride for the 2007 season after parting ways with the John and PeeWee Zemaitis owned Zemco team today.
In his three year tenure in the car, Smith won many races at Port Royal Speedway and had feature wins at Williams Grove and Susquehanna as well. Smith is in the process of starting Selinsgrove Speed and Fab Shop with two local businessman but is actively pursuing a sprint car ride. http://www.ijustwannarace.com/

Not good news. They had a heck of a year, especially at Port Royal.

Smitty 51 You will soon run out of numbers to put in your handle if your man keeps changing rides!!!!!! " The replacement driver for Mark Smith will have 1/2 the talent". I thought the King was running his own car, but I guess John must have hired him. I heard Mark was going with your World Class NST circus train and run at Selinsgrove!!! How much talent does it take to mash the throttle to the floor at the Port?? Send him to the Pigeon Hills to run a real race track and compete against real drivers and see how many wins he gets in a season.

Is winning races the only thing that makes a good driver?

Smitty22- 1/2 the talent of Mark Smith? IF Mark Smith kept it on four wheels, you knew the pedal was to the metal! Mark Smith, Layton, Eash and Rahmer, in turns, kept everyone alert for lift-offs or run-overs! E-Mods.

I was going to go with J&J Ott, but I didn't want to show you up???
I'll take it easy on ya this time, since your car owner (Al) retired, and you know your WoO driver will NOT repeat as champion!
