Let's say you have an old race car that you're running, working on etc . Like all of us, we could use some help sometimes financially , without too many strings, to get the job done and get the car closer to the track.

You think about t-shirts, but the COST and where to get what you want on it is a huge headache.  Logos and concepts have to be able to be changed in a hurry if you're thinking of going a sponsorship route.  Then there's the issue of the "old original " sponsor out of business, no longer interested, or they only offer a case of beer or oil once a year.

Here's what you can do----

Save the original hood for the original theme, get another hood, or tail made...Have it painted to match the color of the rest of the car---logo free.

WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU-  I can draw up the car you have in mind, I "prefer" old supers and 6 bangers to do, but I'll try anything vintage or nostalgic open wheel, time permitting. Then I can place a logo, or possible sponsors name on the hood for you give it a try looking for a new one. THERE WOULD BE 2 FILES, ONE FOR THE LOGO FREE VERSION, ONE FOR THE CURRENT EFFORT. I can then have a shirt made up for you to try out, and a poster to use to help make your case for sponsorship. You want several? No problem.

THEN, should you find a sponsor to help for a decent amount of time, t shirt worthy, you get the use of the file, on CD, to go and have your own shirts made as you sell them, and you alone get the long term profit from selling them , instead of me. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS FIND YOUR OWN SCREENPRINTER IN YOUR TOWN.

You'll have the car and the shirts to help pay for it.

I alos offer conceptual work as well. Meaning I can draw up a car you have in mind, and you won't have to wait in line behind a boat drawing or a Cobra. THESE CARS ARE WHAT I WISH TO DRAW,  AND I WILL LEARN HOW TO DO IT WELL TO FIT YOUR WISH.

Below is just a working file, not a finished one.

For sale or trade:

Sprint car power steering made from Saginaw/GM box. Complete with pitman arm and drop pin wheel hub. Nicely made, but too bulky for a sprint car. Was in a 22" wide frame and clamps on both sides like typical sprint mounting. Would work fine in a bigger cockpit car.

Looking for:

Low back metal sprint seat with at least right side support.

On this forum if you want to contact someone off of the forum, you click on the person name in blue. For instance brian26, welder, jiggs69 etc. then click on email/send a email to and another window will pop up and you type in your message.

It's fine to ask questions etc but I thought if you want to know how to ask questions etc. privately you can do that off line. Some people do use more that one e-mail though so remember to check the e-mail you used for this forum. Don't forget to update your e-mails if it should change for here.

Also if you sell the item or items or you buy what your looking for maybe click on reply to the post and maybe post SOLD/FOUND etc. or you can delete it. SOLD/FOUND would be better as it lets viewers know that the classified section works!

To post a photo it has to be in a file like My Pictures file on your computer or on a cd etc. or I think you can download it straight from your camera. Just click on the ICON above that looks like a mountain with the sun over it. This the image icon. This will bring up another window where you can upload your photos to a file on the forum and then you can attach it to the post. There will be a file of you photos kept until you delete them. Please if your unsure practice is the best way, You can always delete the post and keep trying. Nobody will probably even see you posting a blank post. OF course you need a scanner to scan the photos.
