After enduring a couple of early April rainouts, Jordan Goldesberry looks to finally get his second season of winged sprint car racing underway this Saturday, April 19 at the Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders season opener at 34 Raceway in Burlington, Iowa.
In addition to competing throughout the season in 360 CID sprint car competition with the SIA and the American Sprint Car Series, seventeen-year old Jordan plans on making his first 2008 appearance in 410 sprint competition Friday, May 9 at the World of Outlaws stop at Tri City Speedway in Pontoon Beach, Illinois.
After completing a stellar micro sprint career in 2006, Jordan wheeled the bright yellow Goldesberry Signs and Designs #65 to a dozen top 10 feature finishes and three heat wins en route to claiming the 2007 Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders Rookie of the Year award.
