Just curious is this really a High Limit vs World of Outlaws or is this a Flo vs DirtVision thing. From what I have been hearing the race tracks have to make a decision on Dirtvision or Flo from there then they can decide on what races can be held there. So now we are saying the streaming has taken over the tracks. Streaming has done several great things for racing but also one huge bad thing and that is taking fans out of the actual seats at the track. We watch a ton of races thru streaming and love it, but WOW Flo and DitVision can now dictate who gets to race at what track. Why don't we just change the names. World of Outlaws is really owned by Dirtvision and Highlimits is really owned by Flo. When the schedules come out I wonder if any of the tracks are allowing flo and dirtvsion on the same track. Maybe Eldora will I don't know.

Do you really think that Flo and DirtVision have that much influence on race tracks and promoters? I doubt it and hope that is never the case. Flo and DirtVision should do the events they are a part of reguardless of the tracks affiliation.
I have only chose to not attend one Sprint Car race in person and then planned to watch it on Flo when I saw it was available. Unfortunately it was rained out partially into the program. So I was happy I did not get rained on! I still prefer being in the stands vs watching dirt track races on TV.

Who do you think is the cash-cow for Nascar, MLB, NFL, NHL, and NBA? TV. Period. Gate $$$ is fun and all, but the real money is made from the TV deals. Sprint Car racing finally got the memo. Like it or not, streaming is going to be THE driving factor going forward. It will also evolve greatly as the next few months and years pass.
I'm afraid what's going to eventually hurt the High Limit viewership is the lack of driver contracts. When the first High Limit "west coast swing" hits, and there are literally 1 or 2 "series points" drivers in attendance, people will be turned off. Don't get me wrong, I think the racing and car counts will be just fine. However, people want a series, and I don't think the High Limit will end up being a series. The average fan is going to get sick of Sweet running every race and running away with the points. I won't----I believe in capitalism, so Sweet should be the guy everyone has to beat. But the fans that have been clamoring for this to take place are going to tire very quickly, and will begin to turn on the series----hell, they already did last year and it was only a 4th of the races.

Seems like everybody is trying to get a piece of the pie! In the end it will likely be the fans that pay the price.
Starting to think I liked Sprint Car Racing better back when it was one of Americas best kept secrets.:)

Bingo. Next thing you know we will have "playoffs". Heck already happened in late models. I just want to see a good race the night I'm there and let the points fall where they may. Watching "point racing battles" is One of the most overrated things in motor sports. I just want to see a good race between two or more cars right then and there.

conflicts are arising due to streaming services, Lucas Oil Speedway has dropped the ASCS races at their track, which I have to wonder if it's because ASCS is now Dirtvision and Lucas Oil (late model series) is Flo.

In ten years everything will probably be streming. Most people under 30 don't have cable anymore. Many professional sports are looking into making their own streaming channels.

You act like Sprint car racing is all Flo has. It's a sports channel for a lot of other things. If they don't see a return of investment then yes this will go bye bye like NASCAR did at ESPN.

FloSports does lots of events. Sprint Cars appears to be a small portion of their yearly offerings.
I suspect Flo is not taking a risk financially on anything. Folks in the TV production business seldom do that. It is a high profit business in general. The folks backing the High Limit Series likely have way more at risk financially. Larson has pretty deep pockets (estimated net worth $12 million) , not as much for Sweet (estimated $3 to $5 million net worth) and there may be others . . . . . . .
FloSports had a post-money valuation in the range of $100M to $500M as of Jun 4, 2019 , according to PrivCo.
