It was a beautiful thing after a week of Ohio dust storms.

That was one of the better A mains I've seen at Husets. The frustrating thing about the track is the facilty is great but there seems to be a limit to how good the surface can be. It seems like as soon as it slicks off, it rubbers up quite quickly. But last night there were 2 grooves and the racing was fierce.

They need a couple tractors with those metal spikes to dig it up.  Cedar Lake does that when weather is hot and dry and mists the track at the same time.  Steve Sinclair suggested that one year and it made a big difference in the Features.

Husets held up well last night and the racing was good all night.  I think of rubbered up locked down tracks as bottom lane only and getting passed if a driver gives up his line.  I have seen that during the last 30 laps of 100 lap Late Model races in spite of roughing up the track.  Sometimes they won't even hold up for 100 after working them but should be fine for Sprint Features.

It was a very good A-main.

I agree with track surface, if you don't have a good surface......you should rework the track to make it more racy.  Nobody wants to see asphalt racing.

Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
