I did go last night and saw the Sprint Bandits for the first time.   I'd like to see them on a better track though as I've never been impressed with the surface at TMS.   There wasn't much racing in the heats.    They reworked the track during a pretty long intermission, but it was still one groove in the feature.   Lapped traffic almost made it interesting, but a caution flag took that factor out of it.   I do like the cars, and really like that they're not locked down and actually a bit loose.   It was refreshing to see winged sprints get a little bit sideways.    I also liked that there was only one support class.   Despite the long intermission, I was still home at 11:20 after a 45 minute drive home.

I didn't realize ASCS was racing right down the road. A bit strange to have competing races 60 miles apart.

True, especially considering we don't get the 360s in town much any more.   Would have been nice to have the races on different weekends and not have to choose one or the other.   Being able to go to both would be ideal.
