Who won the car owner points the year that Blaney won the driver points?

Does Mindless not know the answer or does he not want to confirm my suspicion that it wasn't Luna?

Nothing changes except in the mind of mindless.

2011: WoO sprint car champ Jason Meyers and Charlotte sprint car champ Finals Night winner Donny Schatz used Chevy power, Big Block Mod champ Matt Sheppard and Finals Night
Big Block champ Tim McCreadie w/ big block Chevy power and the bowtie sweep ends with WoO Late Model champ Rick Eckert and Finals Night champ Jimmy Owens as well as 98% of all 141 finals night entrants using Chevy power . Add to the mix Don O'Neal's capture of the 2011 Knoxville Late Model Nationals
and Jimmy Owens wraps up the championship title in the Lucas Oil Late Model series both w/ Chevy power. Nothing will change for 2012 regardless of the amount of money Ford thru Roush-Yates pumps into building motors.

IN ADDITION: 2011 USAC Sprint Car champion and USAC Silver Crown champion Levin Jones had bowtie power in both cars. Hey, mindeless, take a look at any issue of National Dragster magazine and looking at all the classwinners runnerups, etc, 75% of all cars will have bowtie motors powering them down the dragstrip. 24% will have Mopar and the other "various". 99.9% of the funny cars and top fuel dragsters (nitro powered) will have the big Mopar hemi(no change ever will be seen there unless da Bum in Charge in D.C. puts out an executive decision that they have to use electric motors. Been that way for 50 years and not about to change any time soon. As far as your local circle tracks, 99% of all motors in all classes from Super Stock to Street Stock to B--Mods and A Mods to limited and unlinmited late models, once again if you don't have a bowtie motor, you is not in the winner's circle.

Hate to send mindless to the basement to cry, but he keeps bringing this up, so expect a spanking: Indy Car Series: domination by the new Indy Car series Chevrolet engine all year long. AND, those Harley's continue to dominate the professional Pro Stock motorcycle class with Eddie Kwaic (Spelling) Andrew Hines on their Screaming Eagles.

Since you continue to tell nontruths, I'll make you a deal. Since you want to pretend Jimmy Owens runs a chevy, I'll pretend Sammy Swindell runs a Ford.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

I don't know. Luna did struggle to beat a guy named Karl Kinser. Maybe Karl won it.

Did you ever hear of a big block chevy with its canted valves .. First produced about 45 years ago.. It is called the grandfather of the Ford canted valve engine..

So you like Chevrolet's idea with canted valves? You know there were alot of

chevy passenger cars with canted valve big blocks 40 yrs. ago.. I owned a few

myself.. And 30 yrs. ago in the early 80's they gave Karl Kinser fits.. The canted valve

big block chevy was king of central Pa. sprint car racing in the early 80's.. That is

until the outlaws set a 410 limit. I think there was a 430 limit first then 410..

Good post. I'd be very impressed if a 410 cu in big block chev would run with JJ's new 410 small block Ford. LOL It would be nice to see but I'm sure the girls in charge would be against that too.

I don't think he was saying RY was cheating.

I believe he was telling Mindless to get over the fact that the WoO has a rule in place pertaining to heads that makes the Ford motor that Luna was running 20 yrs ago illegal today.

FYI for Mindless, there are a whole lot of things that are illegal with the WoO today that weren't illegal when that picture of Lasoski driving the Ford was taken.

Wings and tires are two that come to mind quickly.

Get over it. If the RY Ford is as great as some think it is they shouldn't have any problem beating the Chevy knockoffs while staying within the rule book.
