Support Communism, human rights violations and job losses, Buy XXX !!! Then brag about all the money you saved.
Also, will someone "in the know" comment on the Winters rear ends that are reportedly foreign made? Are the ring & pinion gears also foreign made? How about the quick change gears? If so, where are they made?

I've posted this excerpt as "nodust" did not appear to read the entire article.
Last night she went even better. Again 4th quick time, this time from a field of 57 x 410s, followed by a convincing 2nd place in the Dash. She led the first 8 laps of the feature, and went on to score an outstanding 3rd place. It took drivers of the calibre of international star Kerry Madsen and Bevelite hotshoe, Ian Loudon to tame the "Saturday Night Diva". No-one else could."

so this meant it was all the chassis? Were there any other variables? I am a man of research. Did she have a different tire brand, rearend, wing, engine, experience, crew cheif or anything.
Get too many variables and you cant take credit. called science and research

If anyone out there believes that the xxx chassis and parts are responsible for these results, call me about a ski slope for sale in Oklahoma.

We can export our chassis to China...oh wait, we might have a problem there. THEY DON"T EVEN KNOW WHAT A SPRINT CAR IS!
That kind of thing will happen when your government will only let you watch a few channels of TV and only read some newspapers. Not much information comes your way.

Agreed that we cannot take all the credit for the result. Just a good result for one of our cars, and a little proof that they are not just being raced successfully soley on the West Coast. Sorry that the good press upsets some so much.

Yep, get used to it, or you will be the only one left paying top dollar for a maxim. Sure you will be supporting american made, hand crafted by american sprint car stuff. How about anything else? Nothing you use everyday is made in the US, sure boycott XXX, but people who want to save $$ won't, and they will have more $$ to spend on other things. People are going to fuss and bitch about this for years to come, but when it comes right down to the money saved, until Maxim J&J and others follow suit (as all american "made" cars have), they will lose business.

Is it hypocritical that cheroger types his anti XXX sentiments on a Sony computer?
I'm willing to bet the shirt on his back was manufactured overseas as well. For christ sake it is called a global economy, get used to it.

Kelly did a good job in tough conditions. The car was setup well and looked good on the track. One of those nights if your car was right you were ok but if you missed you were in deep doo doo.

The previous post was from someone who earlier wanted proof based on "science and research" to quantify a finish. Apparently a good starting point for jackhole22's “research” would be a library. First order of business is to look up the words "inane" and "ramblings" in a dictionary.
Oh ... and great point Dizzle. You've convinced me with a well thought out and undisputable argument.

cheroger. Here's an idea that maybe you haven't thought of. Call Winters and ask them. (717) 764-9844
