Will they be penalized....yes. So your argument doesn't hold up.

Wow, couldn't help replying.  You are either dense or just try to stir people up on here.

A driver can run any race they want, anywhere they want.  No penalty!

Why do you keep mixing up a driver signing a contract with an organization?

He never will get it.

"True Outlaw" schedules for 2023:  Dietrich, Marks, Macri, Abreu....who else?

"World of Outlaws Platinum Member" schedules for 2023:  All World of Outlaws races plus a maximum of 4 more of the their own choosing.

Organizational benefits to "True Outlaws" from WRG:  None

Organizational benefits to "World of Outlaws Platinum Members" from WRG: Tow money, pit passes, t-shirt trailer preferred placement, big ol' points fund, all monies are derived from their sanctioning fees and sponsors.

SO AGAIN...this is a pretty simple concept.  If you want the additional benefits for your BUSINESS, you sign the contract and adhere to it.  If you don't want the benefits and the associated restrictions on those benefits FUNDED BY THE SANCTIONING BODY based on exclusivity of running their schedule plus a maximum of 4 outside races, then don't sign the contract.

You don't get to have your cake and eat it too.

This is like saying you go to work for an employer and don't elect to participate in their medical and retirement benefits program but the minute you get sick or retire you should be given them.

There are only 2 options:

1.  Constantly trying to stir the pot (going with this one)

2.  Dumbest human on earth.  (I'm giving him credit by claiming #1)

If he responds and claims he's not constantly stirring the pot, that leaves him only one option.................

i would think that part of the decision behind the WoO allowing 4 or 8 unsanctioned shows was not only fostered by the HL shows but also the million. I would think that each Pl;atinum team would have asked for a chance to race the million. Maybe tony's revenge???????? I know Sweeet and Larson are in business together , but how does Tony fit into their friend group, ill admit im a conspiracy guy , maybe there is an multi faced attack to bring down the WoO, then Tony can expand the Ascoc?

just thoughts to ponder.

Tony might have a grudge with WoO, but no way is he trying to "bring them down" or replace them as a national series. Allstars fit a niche for certain regional teams.

He might be trying to piss them off tho....

Just like when you were a kid, arguing with your Father.... no way  you were gonna win, but you might get some warped satisfaction out of wecking his day wink

On the positive side, Tony could actually be trying to HELP TEAMS MAKE SOME $$$ & promote the sport! Smile

I don't think Tony want's to replace the WOO. IMO Tony know's its importance and history. I also don't think the HL series is a bad thing. Competition makes everyone step up their game, drivers, promotors, tracks, sponsors, everyone. And if you don't step up, you know what happens.

Taking money away from the drivers if they race more than they allow them to race 'outside of there schedule'  is a PENALTY!   There should't be any stipulations in the contract.....let them race where and when they want for more money than the outlaws in a lot of their races.  If you are taking money away because someone wants to race in the middle of the week.....that is just plain STUPID!

WRG is a bonehead organization.  However, I do enjoy watching there drivers.

It's an incentive contract that they do not have to sign they can run all the races they want minus the INCENTIVES no penalty.

Than why did they all resign the incentive contract? You just keep saying the same dumb shit because you can't answer the question why they ALL resigned.

If there are "no stipulations in the contract" then what's the point of having a contract, genius?  A contract is an agreement between parties, creating mutual obligations.  The obligations of the WRG is to provide the teams with money and benefits under the contract, the team's obligation to WRG is to follow the 4-max outside race rule.

Again, no one is forcing to teams to sign the contract.  If they are signing the contract then they feel the MUTUAL OBLIGATION they are agreeing to with WRG is the best deal for their team.

You don't get things for free.  At least not in capitalism.  Take this commie crap somewhere else lol.

Stawser's Commie Sprint Tour:  Where teams get all the guarantees and benefits, but the sanctioning body and fans are not guaranteed the teams will actually appear at a show.  Sounds like a winning combo...run with it, comrade.

WoO ISN'T "Taking money away from the drivers"

Its just "not giving it to them". Big difference....WoO has no right whatsoever to tell teams where they can race. However, teams are not entitled to the tow money, etc. If they want it they have to sign a contract

I wish they could race anywhere too.... but I don't run the series & have no idea how it works as a business. Neither do you

Its a shame that you're stuck in your own head & refuse to consider other people's ideas

recommend listening to the winged nation podcast from 11/8/22 where they talked to wrg/woo ceo brian carter.  his argument for setting boundaries on their platinum drivers made sense.  they essentially make his product what it is and sharing them wouldn't be good for business.

i'm sure streaming revenue is still up for debate.  nobody ever seems to have the exact numbers.  i find it hard to believe race tracks get only $100 per race...but that's a separate issue.

in other tony stewart news...i saw he's going to race a top alcohol dragster this year.  i guarantee i'll be in reading at least 1 day in september to see him.  he's a great businessman and still commands attention where ever he goes.  he helped dirt racing gain popularity and i'm sure his presence will help drag racing.

i'm pretty sure i could win the daytona 500 pole so i only watched about 10 minutes of qualifying...but i had it on long enough for tony to prop up dirt racing.  at one point it was briscoe, larson, and bowman in the top 3.  he pointed out they all race dirt and started a little conversation with bowyer about how proud he was of that.

You are literally describing 99% of the people on this board.  Why is this thread 7 pages long?  Because a select few will continue saying the same thing they've said over and over.  This is America, we all have a right to our own opinion.  This is a topic that really doesn't affect anyone here and nobody here has any control over it so to argue about it really isn't productive.  But have fun everyone.
