john, if you are having trouble dealing with some valid reasons why someone claimed as posse had a good night how are you going to deal with all the BS reasons when those claimed as posse don't. both jeff and the 1z car have always been good runners. i did not see much of the main as i was getting something to eat and being bummed cause we did not have a very good night. but i heard jeff was fast and from what i saw he was right with tats. i think that last yellow changed the race, but like i said jeff was fast. so congrats to the posse fans. i would much rather deal with you celebrating a win than trying to BS your way out of a loss.

full heat inversions are great for fans. talk about promoting passing...........it does it. heavy race track tend to have a say in that. Guess you don't follow to much outside your little shell............otherwise you would know that Natalie Sather - although freakin gorgeous - should never be in a Knoxville Nationals 410 feature ---I dont care what night it is. Track must have been heavier than when we were up there for the 360's. Speaking of which - yes we attend the 360 nationals over the 410's. Why? Because whereas you're so worried about big names, 410's, or PA Posse.........we just go for the good racing. We find it a plus to avoid the large crowds as well. Pleanty of room........kick back and relax for 4 days. We started that tradition with the 360 Nationals back in 2000 when it was till being held on Fathers Day Weekend in June..........so for my and father it was a perfect fit to what we were wanting to do. Now it's in August and hell yeah we'd love to se all 10 nights......but due to a lack of money and vacation time thats a bit difficult. And out of tradition the 360 race will always come first for us - if you get the drift.

No I don't care where Shepard is from........was just happy to see an "underdog" win it. next time cut and paste the sentence before as well..........then you'll see you shouldn;t have quoted it at all.

and if you have the time - go through all the posts for about the last year - I don't have enough time to post on every PA racing thread. Some of em I do because they're interesting.......some are funny.......and then some are just loaded with ethnocentrical bullshit. It's usually the latter........You people still don't understand the concept that the extremely high quality of racing in central PA in no way puts any of you fans on some pedestal. But yet ya'll still act like it. For the longest time I didn;t even post to ANY of the PA threads........but now I see something idiotic.......I'll replace with something just a tad bit less idiotic on my part. thats me being honest. But don't talk about never seeing races wherever. Ya'll are stuck in your little shell of high and mighty up there and could care less what goes on outside of it unless there are some Posse drivers there. I'm STILL trying to learn as much as I can about ALL forms of Dirt track racing (not just sprints) and all the tracks that run them. It's a bit of a hobby of mine because between vacations, family reunions, or whatever the reasons are for trips away from home (oklahoma)..........you never know when there might be a good race nearby. I even like tuning into the 305 series in Kansas and Texas. 305's down here will probably be the next coming thing. I like lookin at points, results, pics, and videos, or racing in the northwest......Ohio, Indiana (really like tri-state stuff), Iowa, the Dakotas, Rocky Mountain racing intrigues me as well. I love it all man. and would like to experience as much of it as I possibly can in my life.

The great racing up there allows you to be narrow-minded..........we don't have it that good in Oklahoma. So I literally study as much as I can about races EVERYWHERE. But if thats what all that good racing in PA does to ya'lls brains............I think I'll pass. I'm a fan of NATIONWIDE sprint car racing.

AND BTW Wright-One...........you don't make that team look bad dude. You crack some funny jokes at those blokes and they can't take em and come back with somethin equally as funny. Not your fault man. Keep crackin at em and good luck to to the Wright One team when you race.........ummmm well of course tonight but also............O think it's the Dakotas. If so........then good luck to ya'll there.

OKC, not to beat a dead horse but the format works at the Nationals because drivers that start up front in the heats and may qualify for the prelim night feature are still going to be buried in points by the end of the night.

You know, I can actually understand why you would want to attend the 360 Nationals every year. I went to our local Modified track every Saturday night for probably 15 years, long after the racing there had lost its interest for me, because my father and I went there every week and if I didn't go, he would have to go by himself. Kinda felt guilty about not going because of all the races he took me to when I was a kid.

Almost never do you see my posts trumpet the PA drivers. I usually just respond when they get bashed in some of the threads on here -- and I should probably just ignore that. LOL

You are quite wrong if you label me as someone who doesn't care what happens outside of PA. I will put travels up against most of the people posting on this board. I have been to fewer places than some of the people on here, but probably more than most. As of right of now, I am slightly over 160 tracks. The last couple years, I haven't done much traveling over three hours because I just don't have as much time as I used to. I am working full-time and currently enrolled in an MBA program to get my master's degree.

damn that was fast reply dude. hold on i gotta read it first.

I understand about the family deal. always me and my old man and grandpa goin to races. grandpa passed.......so then just me and my pop. But now it's really cool as my brothers kid (who is raised by me and my mom) has gotten obsessed with it in the last couple of years so it's a triad again.

160 tracks.........lol. got me there. I think I'm to about 50 or so in all. But I'm tryin to learn about alot of em without having to spend the bookoo's of money to go see em. at least not until I win powerball.

Finally...........MY APOLOGIES FOR LABELING YOU THAT. I'll be man enough and honest to do that. the 1st post seemed condescending so that where that came from. Sorry I must have took it the wrong way, Anyhow..........livin Oklaoma we got some alright 360 racin here. But I like 410's as well and non-wings. I;d really like to see some speedweeks in Ohio and Indiana. I just hope that over time I have enough money to go to a lot of these places.

o and masters degrees kick ass. ok my time is at its end but I'll admit it now........whatever threads that start up after the race tonight i'll probably include myself.

team wright-one.....you are a black-eye to Jac & the #35 team, please change your name!

MSPN...the truth??? After all of your years on the road, you've definately developed tunnel vision & obviously you only tend to spout your version of the truth. You probably got a "N" for "Needs Improvement" back in school, when it came to getting along well with others. I sit with those fine folks in the stands on a weekly basis & we all get along. We all like different drivers & we all have different opinions......but we have fun & get along just fine at the end of every night. Truth is that you like to preach & you expect everyone to just agree with you............sorry, life doesn't work that way. Truth is that you can't just come to Pa & enjoy a great night of racing with a lot of great people, you have to get argumentative & ruin it. Truth is that you took your crystal "ball" full of BS & went home. Truth is now you've brought out more of your child-like ways resorting to calling these fine folks a bunch of "morons". I truly can't understand why any "moron" would want to put someone like you on the air during a sprint car broadcast? The only thing more disgusting are the people who believe all of your banter.

So how does it feel to have a whole sprint car community hating your guts? Life is too short to be out here making enemies...

Hope you're enjoying life on the porch! And I still can't believe you weren't allowed to go to the Kings Royal.......dude, you're whipped!! lol

smitty don't let it get to you. it's just a message board with a bunch of people taking turns giving a wheel to each other. i know it gets rough but i believe that most of us mean nothing personal or hatefull, well except maybe your post here to mspn. dude take a breath. talk about calling the kettle black. who's fault is it going to be and who's feelings are going to be hurt if someone desides to reply in same to you?

p.s. i was thinking of changing my name to "team pa".

BINGO!!!!! Smitty51 got it.

Nelly has done the same thing in Florida to a group of great friends as he has done in Pennsylvania to you. The delusional goof has to make himself the center of everything everywhere he gypsies to. If he was 1/10 of the celebrity he thinks he is he'd be more famous than all of the Hollywood stars combined. He was just a BS-ing goof on an ego trip whose only expertise was freeloading until he "retired". LOL

I've never heard of a migrant worker who "retired". That could be a first. I thought they just went back to their respective country when they couldn't get anything else for free out of our society.

Dang Smitty, you begged me to talk to BRR and I laughed at you, you gonna deny that, you weren't that drunk were ya'. I have never avoided anyone as I chased sprints around the country and all the tough talk from idiots was met with a smile and a 'no show' on their part. Fair weather friends lookin' for free pics were a dime a dozen and they got paid many times over, who cares. I chose not to go to the Royal because of the race the night before and my decision proved wise. I've seen enough lousy races in my life, I was in no hurry to see one more, sadly you were. Have a nice one, sorry about the three PA big dogs this weekend, I guess there is a new sheriff in Posseville, hmmmm, heard that before in here somewhere, lol. Take It Easy....

PS By the way Smitty, what have you ever corrected me about factually, all you've ever done is whine about it as it happens like the head whiner you just turns it into lies and the usual BS, lol....

Posse 10th. Knoxville locals shut out of the top ten once again. That no driver from Iowa has ever won the thing pretty much sums it up...lol.

nice to know that you guys had 3 cars that i know of in the a-main and the jet got a top 10 but the measure of success that you seem most proud of and can't wait to tell the world is beating the 35 car. thank you. if that is the gage used to determine success a lot of cars had a good nats. lol.

excuse me. beating the 35 a 10th AND shutting out the locals. a trifecta. congrats! not bad for a thread that started out "posse wins for third year in a row..."

OK.

I'm happy for the Jet and Lucas.
If I went out there and made the A, I would be far beyond ecstatic.

But as a Posse fan I'm dissappointed. I really want to see 5 posse in the A, 3 in the top 10 and one in victory lane. I know it's asking a lot. Or even see one in VL.

So I admit, the Posse did not kick butt, and it's going to be a long year, waiting to see them take another shot.

On the plus side this had no actual impact on my life, much as a Posse win woud have no impact on my life.

Now lets see the Knoxville boys come the National Open- Yeee Haaa.

You will see Knoxville regulars at the Open just like you saw them finish way ahead of the Posse at the Nationals, again. McCarl, Lasoski and Dollansky are a few former regulars and almost a dozen years worth of track championships that will be there. All three of these guys have won W of O shows at the Grove while nobody from your area other than Scruffy has ever won a Full sanctioned show at Knoxville. The numbers don't lie, ask Nick Bakay. Take It Easy......

PS Don't gimme any split field crap either or weakly show stuff, we're talking W of O full field shows, thank you.....

the three drivers you mention have 1 WoO win each at the Grove...unless are counting a Dollansky split field gummy bear win.

not a bad record for over 100 tries collectively...
