I think $20 for a good night of racing is a fair price. However if you are only interested in one class of cars and there are four is $20 still to much?
Do food, drink and parking play into your thoughts on this?

Tell me another story. I have yet to see a LM race that is completely sold out. Yeah the ones that seat around 18 to 22 thousand at a dirt track and don't have a seat left.

Go watch the replay of the last big LM race at Eldora. The place is packed, not only the stands but all the grassy areas around the track.

So it stands to reason that if you started going in 1982, and you're still here now, you were going in the early 90's, correct?
If so, can you take a small break from giving us hourly truth bombs and recall what the prices were in the early 90s?

From what I remember, most tracks were around $12. Adjusted for inflation and purse increases, I'd say $20 is very reasonable. While Strawser might not enjoy SLM's, LLM's, smaller CI sprints and other support divisions, most fans enjoy them or at least appreciate and tolerate them. 410's are my favorite but good racing is good racing in my book. The only divisions I don't have time for are the ones that have less than 8 cylinders.

There were still seats left. This year at the Kings Royal. Zero seats were available for Saturday night. Again I will ask who LM race that seats 18 to 22 thousand where there wasn't one seat left?
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

For a regular watered down show it is too much.

Highest attended race at Eldora was in 2017 world 100 25000 so there you go numb nuts.

Sorry Stan I wasn't talking about you it was for the Strawman.

No worries. I think it's another one of those situations where we have to wait for schedules and to see how things all shake out. I have a pretty good hunch that High Limit will stand down on the weekends the WoO has their biggest events. A large part of their schedule may look more like rebranded remnants of the All Stars. I'm pretty sure the 49 will show up for their biggest shows. There will be a lot of racing to attend and stream.

I hope your right because then it would be a win win for fans and teams. I'm old enough to remember the USFL vs NFL debacle, it worked when the USFL had a spring schedule and no conflict against NFL games then tried to take them on with a fall schedule and everything fell apart.

Same here only I go back to before the NFL/AFL merger. I remember when the AFL was an upstart league. They came into their own and got taken seriously when Joe Namath predicted a win.
