Not only that, how about Dietrich from 17th  to 4th in the feature & Macri winning his heat from 7th?

The only thing I didn't get was the passing points system. Why did DD start 17th in the feature after winning his heat? He started 2nd in the heat, & passed as many cars as he could... what was he supposed to do to get passing points, lap everyone? Seems pretty screwy to me...

Drivers earned points for TT and points in their heats (finishing position and passing). After the heats, totalpoints earned were tallied. Top ten total point earners got to redraw for top 10 starting spots. A main positions 11-20 as well as B main lined heads up based on total points earned. Bmain finishers 1-4 lined up in positions 21-24 based on Bmain finish. DD placed 17th in points after the qualifying events so he started 17th in the A main.

A night and day difference with track conditions from the week before with the WoO Late Models and yesterday. I'll just chauk it up to an off weekend with track prep for the DLM's, it happens. You could not ask for any better racing than yesterday, both with the heat races and the feature. I try to hit Port Royal for six to eight races a year, and I am satisfied after watching The Bob Weikert.

Yea if you a fan of him.  Really glad I went to Lincoln.  Great race and great track there. 5-6 seconds faster that the slow palace.

So you were the one there. I thought I saw someone sitting in the grandstands when I was watching that snoozer on flo.

I have to agree. Made my 2021 debut on Saturday night and the track was not good. Brought a friend for his very first dirt track race and he got hit with a few stones sitting in the grandstands. The 410 feature was like an Ice skating rink. In all honestly, that was probably the worst I have seen the track in many years. Unforunately, The Concrete Kid, Anthony Macri was racing at WVMS, and was not buzzing the guardrail to use as a barometer to judge the track conditions.

They should load free rear ends in every trailer as drivers sign in to race.

Watched the Flo highlights of Port Royal Monday, the Dewease/Macri battle out front looked like very good racing to me, probably as good as you will ever see with winged sprints on a half mile.

How in the world can people complain about this quality of racing AND it being a top notch facility to boot is just icing on the cake.

I was at lincoln too, watched Port heats on TV in parking lot. Pretty good heats for a big track. Went into lincoln and watched follow the leader heats and consy. The feature was ok but I'm a Rahmer fan, was hoping Bollinger would have a good night but that didn't happen. Came home and watched the Port feature and it was good, I knew Macri would drive the wheels off his car.lol. How come Lance and some other cars can go fast without slamming the wall? I'll give lincoln another shot on Saturday just because of the support divisions. I'll keep my reserved seat there but won't use it much this year, the racing just isn't what it used to be and the whole place has changed and not for the better. I really wish the Leiby's still owned the place, they were good promoters as well as racing fans.

Yeah and before Dewease and Macri made it to the front, Shurenburg, M.Wagner and Marks were duking it out up front for the lead. I think Marks may have had the fastest car there. Courtney coming from way back and flying up to 3rd at the end. I don't know how you can have such racing on a track that isn't in Strawser's required 15 second hotlap times.

Lincoln feature was OK. Racing through the field was decent but once Freddie got the lead, you knew it was over. I was shocked at how empty the bleachers looked. I know Memorial Day evening running against a race paying 29G is a tough draw, but I thought the track had faithful weekly crowd that would still turn out. Lance was hooked up but I don't know if he was faster than Macri or Marks running the wall. It's tough to run that close to the wall for 30 laps without making a mistake. It really puts the driver into the equation when it's like that. When the cushion is a lane lower, then anyone can run it flat out.

So i guess DD had a really bad qualifying time?

"How in the world can people complain about this quality of racing"?

Maybe cause they've been dissing PR for so long, & have so much ego invested in the argument, it would hurt too much to admit they were wrong, JUST ONCE???

I will still take the track conditions at Lincoln over Port right now.  Ports feature lap times are 4-4.5 seconds slower than track record.  Lincoln was running 1-2 seconds off their track record.  Again I go for feature time speed not slipping and sliding around like they do at the Port.

I go for competitive racing, & I think most other fans do too
