I would think that the liability to any promoter who knowingly allows a person who has demonstrated violent psychotic episodes would be great in the event that Shank were to "snap" again and seriously injure or kill some other racer. What possible defence could a promoter give?...paul

Why do you want to push this out on someone else? If it bothers you so much, do something about it yourself. You have the obvious evidence you need. What possible defense can you give for knowingly allowing this to possibly continue without repercussion. Do you think a race track is the only place someone can "snap"? Reminds me the Sandusky deal where everyone just kept waiting for the next person to do something. Man up and push it yourself.

Repercussion Paul decided on is Schank is banned from MRP. Not sure why you are trying to instigate matters here by calling the promoter out over his decision. Paul chose to handle it at the track.

Does it come across as I have a problem with Pauls decisions to ban someone from his track? Because I don't. Especially in this instance.

I have a problem when he comes on here and other m/b's "calling" for other tracks to further his agenda. Maybe if he was handling business at his own facility, it would never have gotten this out of hand. That's my opinion, and that's it. Nothing more. I'm not ignorant. Or stupid. And I'm not trying to instigate anything, but nice choice of words about my response to what someone else has posted(instigated). Typical California way. For some reason, I just don't find the same views as some of you California people. And that's OK too. Smile

"For some reason, I just don't find the same views as some of you California people."

That's a good thing for us Californians.

Cheers!

I think enough has been said from all sides. Terry did what he did and now he has to pay the price. He is banned from Marysville and the whole world has witnessed this video. I think what other Promoters decide to do is up to them. How would you expect someone to handle business at their own facility to keep something like this from happening. Maybe anybody making contact with another car should be DQ'd? The only thing that I can see that could have been done different is stopping him before he got to the car. I am sure that Paul is going to address this with his crew. Although I don't know how much Officials get paid, but I'm sure it's not enough to take a helmet beating themselves.

Have you seen how Jeremy races. The race before I seen Jeremy flip two cars and he should have been black flag but was not. This is the promoter son seem he is very protected and does what he want. When yellow out in practice he going full force. Im not saying that Terry is right what he did my Jeremy had this coming.

What race did Jeremy flip two cars? Or are you trying to sound like a politician and make up things without any facts. I've been at every wingless race at MRP this year, maybe you could refresh my memory with a date.
