Have fun playing with your Chinese junk. People are usually only defensive for one reason. Hope you get what you paid for.

How am I being defensive? You keep harping on the same thing instead of providing facts as to what you actually do or do not know about certain products. Oh, that's right, you heard about it from the internet or someone else so it must be true.

Cubic, your favorite driver must follow a XXX every week for you to hate them so much.

Or the fact that a XXX is a superior product that is cheaper and safer. Plus it all goes back to the fact that those chinese that youre talkin about have a better work ethic than 97 percent of todays Americans. If Americans weren't so lazy and demanded way too much for their time more stuff would probably be made in America.

On a related note, I hear more PA drivers are switching to XXX next year. Going to suck for you having to harbor so much hatred toward so many teams. You could always convert to being a baseball fan or something...would be better for your ever escalating blood pressure.

Yeah, they are a superior product being followed around every week alright...keep drinking the commi red kool-aid. As soon as some of you traitors admit the only reason you are running them is because they are made by $2/hr labor with 1/2 price tubing then maybe it could be let go. You're too busy trying to bs us all for that though.

Cubic - You are aware that China gets the pick of the litter so to speak of the quality steel on the world market...Don't you? Also, 4130 is 4130, it doesn't matter if it's sintered in the USA, China or Mars.

Wow Cubic, are you sure you weren't the captain of your high school debate team, cause thats probably the most pathetic argument ive ever heard, out of the 10 or so posts on this, just about every one of yours is the same with a few words mixed around. My 1 year old nephew that cant even talk yet debates better than you, but doesnt scream as loud. Ive watched multiple eagles and maxims just fall apart. the worst one was an eagle that had seven welds break and four of the cockpit bars snapped in half. and it wasnt a wreck that should have had that happen. I run my XXX because i feel safer in it, it works better, and leaves me with a little extra spending money to get better parts that i normally wouldn't be able to afford. If another chassis company produced a cheaper, win capable, and safe chassis i would probably buy it.

There is something that can be learned from this post that most folks aren't picking up on. The last real stronghold on 410 winged racing is Ohio and Pennsylvania. When you see new classes popping up, like 305's and people who for years have been running the "Big 3 chassis" for years and years, that tells me that car owners are still wanting to field teams, but the costs are starting to get to them. So, they switch to XXX chassis, which isn't a knock against XXX, and/or dropping to a 358/360 class. Then when the 358/360 begins to get too expensive, they field a 305. The writing is on the wall. I have a question for Cubic too. What year did Central Pennsylvania see their most recent new, start up 410 team? What about 358? Not a dig, just curious.

It's impossible to produce a cheaper chassis. $2 labor and half price junk tubing is as cheap as it gets.

New 410 teams pop-up from time to time. Danny Dietrich's deal is new this year. You're right though, hard to keep going. Goodyear's have unhooked them enough some guys are starting to throw in the towel and de-tune their motors a little bit.See if it actually helps. Limit sprints have been growing steadily for ten years though and 410s are just trying to hold on.

Thanks Cubic for proving my point that you dont really know what youre talkin about. Youre still on the 2 dollar labor and china tubing. Maybe, just maybe people would start listening to you if you could come up with some facts that back up your "junk tubing". Cause ive yet to see a XXX just disintegrate from a flip....oh yeah thats cause they dont. Which eliminates your junk tubing theory. And if you did actullly do even a litle bit of research you'ld know that alot of the 4130 that comes from germany (used by some of the other chassis builders) is made in China and distributed from germany. But i dont hear you calling their tubing junk.

Does anyone know where the tubing used by Maxim, Eagle, JEI, or Mach 1 comes from? Not where the supplier ships it from, but where is it manufactured?

Here's an example, if you find mach1 chassis shop tour on youtube, he states that he doesnt like or ever use chinese tubing. but he also states that he uses Benteler tubing from germany, whici actually is made in the peoples republic of china and distributed through germany. If yould like a little fact to back that up go ahead and order yourself a stick of "german" benteler tubing and on page 59 of 61 it states "Made in republic of China" so again Cubic, find me a fact and i might think about ignoring you, but for now its all too fun makin you look like an idiot to the world.

Well, when the big 3 price their cars where a XXX is, maybe I will give them another shot. If XXX can build a car for that much, so should the big 3.

One thing I guess I should say about my opinion on the different cars, I am not saying Maxim, J&J, etc don't have good cars. They all are capable of building great cars, but for the money, XXX works as good or better than they do. I will take out the "better" in my opinion, why would I spend more money on an equal car? If you buy a used front and rearend, you can put a XXX roller together for what just a kit is from the others. If the cars work exactly the same, how is that a bad choice?

Also, please explain where your "junk tubing" information came from. Is that YOUR opinion, or something you have proof of? Seriously, expain it, I don't understand how their tubing is different from the others when it is the same grade. That isn't just a stamp, they have to have it tested to get a grade for the metal.

No one is buying all of your communist propaganda. Why do you think it costs twice as much moron.

I just love how these threads go of on totally different plain of time and space, awesome. Any way if some of you can read, you could go xxx web site and read that any non standard cars( custom built for the customer) are built in Washington. I think that is in the USA.

Your economy?

Where are you from?

Keep sending your money over to China and this will not be a problem because they will own us.

Cubic doesn't get it and never will. If he really knew how embarrassing he is to the teams and owners of teams, he'd slink back under his rock and stay there. Nothing like an uninformed J.A.

Like everyone has been telling him, all he has to do is walk thru his own home & see where everything he owns is made or where the material it is made comes from. A few years ago there was a manufacturer of sprint car parts who had to backtrack on their advertising of "USA Made" because it became well known that the materials being used came from China.

Do not for one moment think that car owners & drivers are not doing their homework when it comes to buying equipment. After 20+ years in the sport I have never heard that a team chose price over safety. That doesn't mean that there aren't folks who skip on safety but they are the ones who have to look themselves in the mirror everyday.

Also there is not a chassis out there that isn't gonna rip apart in an accident. I remember quite well that everyone was up in arms about how horrible the Maxims were - how when you looked at the cars after wrecks, the welds broke, etc. etc. If happens. Unfortunately. It's part of the sport. You do your homework and make the best possible decisions you can.
