Just a different approach but who says the family wants to put anyone in the car? It's is quite possible the father financed the project to give his son an opportunity. Does the family want to have a race team for someone else to drive? I know I invested money to let my kids ride horses. Not the same amount of money but possibly a similar expense/income ratio as I don't own a concrete company. When my kids didn't want to ride I had no interest in letting others ride the horses.

Nick Macri/Macri Concrete has sponsored sprint cars for a long time - since when the kid was really a kid. Maybe before the was a kid.

This isn't the first time father and son had a blowup sometimes it runs it's course better to walk away than have deep resentment.

Macri in the Clauson/Marshall No 7 filling in for Sunshine for essentially the rest of the year. All All Star and Outlaw committed shows to include the Knoxville Nationals

Courtney said he will be back this year. So i wouldn't be shocked if CMR becomes a 3 car team. 2 full time winged cars and the Wingless with Axom.

I considered all sorts of responses from "brushing over the details" to "forming up a concrete idea of what is going on here" or "sometimes you just have to take the edge off" but nothing really competed with the post from sap so some positive "reinforcement" was due.  life too short to be serious all the time.
