I'm going to put it right on the line. There's been a lot of complaints already. Fooling around on the board, bad language, smoking grass, poor posting. If you guys want to get fired. If you want to be replaced by Facebook, just keep it up. 

This is a prime example of what's wrong with the world today. Too many people get offended over things and expect the rest of the world to change to suit their hang ups. News flash, most people swear. Kids are gonna hear bad words on TV, music, at the races, at sporting events, from their friends at school etc. Political correctness is killing our society. People get offended over stupid shit and raise hell about it and “sensitive" people give in and they get their way. More and more people just keep their mouths shut and don't speak their mind because if they say something that could be interpreted as racist, sexist or otherwise, it could ruin their lives. Instead of worrying about what your kids hear from other sources, focus on the example that YOU as parents set. Ultimately, that will have the most impact on how a child turns out when they become an adult, not some random guy using the word “fuck" in a message board post. Granted there is a time and a place for everything. You won't see me walking into a church or a school throwing F-bombs around but this is a sprint car message board. Sprint car fans are mostly blue collar dudes who are a little rough around the edges and when such folks post on a forum, you're going to get a little bit of rough language from time to time. I've never one time seen anything on this board get out of hand with foul language because sprint car fans are also the best people on earth and I think 99% of us know that its probably not cool to throw dirty words around in every other word of a post. Ironically enough, of all the threads I've read on this board, this one has by far the most swearing. Imagine that?

I've been a member of every iteration of the Hoseheads Message Boards since the inception in 1997. I still have my name badge that Duane (RIP) made for everyone for the reunions we used to have each year at Knoxville. For about the first 8 years, the worst word I ever saw on here was "damn" or "hell". There was a TOTAL and MUTUAL respect for each other, no matter if you were a wing, nonwing, Steve, Sammy, PA or CA fan. It progressed to the occasional "f bomb" and then progressed to bashing and a total disrespect for others. It used to be a daily stop for me and I was a VERY active poster for the better part of 12 years, but I come here less and less because of the path this board has taken. Keep up the good work people, you have taken a gem and turned it to coal.

I work in aviation....believe me, I know more uses of the f word than you can imagine. It's not about free speech or kids....it's about respect. I have seen clowns like you all come and go from this forum over the past 18 or so years. I was here before you came here and i will still be here when you are nothing but a distant memory. There once was a time when several big name drivers, owners and crew chiefs would post to this forum. But those of you who are content with ruining what once was a diamond, bave ruined it. There is an old Mark Twain saying that is more relevant today with public Internet forums than ever before...... "It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt".

Something for garbage mouth contributors to think about.  About 15 yas ago I was on a Southwest flight from Phoenix to Ontario Ca.  There was 2 young men seated in front of me that had too much to drink and began loudly using profanity back and forth.  The flight was full and a young woman was setting in the aisle seat next to them and an older lady with a grandaughter was next to me.  People within 10 feet or so could clearly hear the mens exchange of the F word and other profane expressions.  I finally spoke up and ask the one in the window seat to please stop with the language.  He and his friend then blasted me with profanity and threats to whip my butt when we landed.  A flight attendent finally came, explaining to them the law about causing a disturbance on an airplane.  This settled them down some but soon it started again.  The young men departed the plane before me and I was expecting a confrontation when I got off.  BUT, there was none, except arport security was there waiting for them and arrested them when they got off.  The last I saw was that they were in handcuffs being escourted away.  I don't know what happened to them after the arrest.  However I'm sure "Free Speech" held a different meaning for them after that.

I also knew of an instance where a group of young profane men were fishing at a lake near a family picnic area, using loud profanity when a small group of WWII Marines nearby politely ask them to stop.  They continued and made threats to the men.  They, not knowing who they were dealing with, all ended up in a hospital, true story.

I was somewhat on your side until this idoitic reply. Now you've injected religion. Good idea, numbskull. Must have started to feel outnumbered so you called on your army of none. Nobody on this board, myself included, has to answer to your so called god. You have now deeply insulted me without the use of a single profain word. Imagine that. I have not thrown out my black book but it looks nothing like yours. Living in the present would be the best thing that could ever happen to your misguided being.

You are so sadley mistaken and unless you seek the Lord you will find out how wrong you are, and I feel sorrow for that.

That day is coming very soon.....much sooner than you think. The Holy scriptures have predicted what is and what is to come with 100% accuracy. Jesus died on the cross for our sins past present and future to provide a means for our slavation. Choose to accept the free gift of eternal life with him in heaven. Choose to reject it and you will send yourself to the lake of fire for eternal punishmet. Seems like a no brainer to me.......I choose Jesus and eternal life with him in heaven.

Jesus is the way,the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through the Son.  This is truth, written with Christian Love, I pray you will seek his face and come to know him and his amazing saving grace.   It has changed my life in amazing ways !
