Carmen Manzardo. Watched him race modifieds for years and then he went to Knoxville and became a ledgend... or was it a footnote in the history of the Nationals?

I think Karl Kinser, Scruffy or Leland McSpadden. Scruffy would be a very interesting read. With his knowlege of being on the cutting edge, his racing stories and his hell raising stories would be a can't miss. Karl is just Karl and it would be very entertaining to hear his stories. Leland would be a good read cuz he is one of those guys that has been around forever and can say be there done that with about anything. Reality is, if Dave writes it it will be good.

I second the votes for Karl Kinser and Shane Carson. Karl may be a bit more popular/mainstream -- but Shane can/would tell some GREAT stories - most of which are totally true.

Yeah, for some reason Shane doesn't noticeably 'jack up' his stories as he gets older. Unusually humble.
