Just curious what is the deal with Sammy and Sides? Remember hearing that he was a crew member for Sam at one time with the Channelock car. I remember hearing about them going at it in the pits a race a few years ago. They were both in their cars best I remember.

I can tell you unequivocally that Jason has never worked for Sammy.. Jason is one of my best friends and Sammy is a relative... I haven't talked to Jay today, but, if he got dumped (as it seems apparent to many) and ALL he did is pull a plug wire, I think it's halarious...
Steve had it right.. I guarantee there are a very few that could run in the top five in points with the budget and help (ONE guy - not a team) that Jason does. Do you think you'd get a little pissed if someone punts, chops, blocks or whatever you wish to call it and the result of that kills approximtely 30% of your budget? I can tell for damn sure, I'd be mad... So he could have choked him, busted him in the mouth or fustratingly pulled a plug wire and the end result is nobody gets hurt..
The deal between them? There is none... The bottom line is they are both damn passionate about what they do.. They are not little spoiled brats that have everything handed to them. They love this sport. Has it happened before? Sure... Is this the last time? I hope not because that would mean that they were not running anymore and I would absolutely hate that...
I also wager that all involved... Jason, Sammy, Meyers, whoever quit thinking about it LONG before posters here have or will... I just hate it for Jason because it hurts financially..
I hope they run first and third tonight... Your guess as to who finished first....

Great post. I agree with you 100%.
I watched the race last night and honestly I was surprised at how "calm" Sides appeared as he was having a little chat with the still strapped in Swindell.

Being that your a genuis in the sprint world if they both straightend out on front stretch and they where next to each other at the end of the stretch and Myers held his line how did jason hit him in the tail. Myers chopped him and jason didnt let up and for good reason. Assbag LOL!! Genuis

I was there ,and I was there at the ascs Vegas when he drove through the pits wide open not worried bout running anyone over and numerous other races he drove through people ,

Alright, Kendra is representing Winged Nation at Vegas tonight and sounds like she may be walking into a war-zone. Anyone there last night, here is what we have so far:
- Sammy and Sides tangle sending Jason tumbling.
- Smoke and The King get together, ON THE TRACK.

Just made up crap.. By pulling a plug wire what did he gain.. Sammie being a driver for years he was going yo know something was wrong and he was starting on the tail anyhow so what did Jay have to gain? Sammie pulled in and put plug wire back on and started on tail where he was going anyway.. They made contact anything could of happen to that car. The official was standing right there and the video was showing Jay the whole time if you watch it on dirt vison you can see nothing happened. Just made up out of frustration.

They showed video of it tonight on SPEED and said Sides pulled a plug wire ... (so it must be true  )

Where is that report you seen because i watched speed and even checked there website to see if i missed something and never seen nor heard that. Do you have a link to that broadcast because the post everything on speeds website?

No link - don't know ... I saw it on TV... tonight's edition of SPEED Center at about 8:30 or so central time. Was in their WoO video race report story from Wed and Thurs using same cam shots as DV video.

So, obviously you've been a Sammy fan for a long time. I do like Sides, but he's the one that made the douche bag move, pulling wires is bullsh!t, and just because the 7s is competitive on a limited budget/one man crew, doesn't give him the right to do it.
