Big Right Rear, you should start a new post with that info from WRG. I am not a stock expert but I am sure there is something not right about what they are doing.

You know, Tyler Walker knew about "Thunder Through the Plains" last summer, albiet a bit later than he and his team would have liked. I know this because he was on my show in mid-July and we discussed the possibility of him running Belleville and Husets. His quote on the show was that he REALLY would love to run Belleville, at least, but the team wasn't sure how well the motor they leased/purchased was going to run because they hadn't used it yet. But, hell, you know everything. Allard was mentioned because the promoter at Husets expected him to be there, as the Williams team usually ran a show or two at Husets on the trip to the midwest.

Another thing...nobody...and I mean nobody...tells me who can or can't be on my show. That's completely off base. I am the sole deciding factor of who is or isn't interviewed and how the interview progresses.

I don't receive a paycheck from anybody...All Stars, WoO or anybody else. Have any of you clowns ever thought that I promote and discuss what I want because that's what I think and want to promote?

I'll take the heat for what I say because I beleive what I say. If it doesn't fit YOUR agenda...tough. Yep, I have an agenda...just like every other person in the sprint car media...and I am willing to state my opinion. If you believe in pushing your own agenda...put in the time, effort and money building a broadcast or website and have at it.

If your "agenda" is what you claim it to be, why wouldn't you give equal time to F.A.S.T.? It involves a track that probably has the highest winged 410 car count on a weekly basis anywhere in the country. Also, this could be a great model for growing 410 racing in other areas of the country. You should be all over this like stink on shit.

If not, then what exactly is your "agenda"? Spell it out clearly. Leave the dancing around issues to those who do it best in Washington.

Glad to see YOU believe what you say. Even though many of us don't believe a damn thing you do say on here in regards to what is good for sprint-car racing in America and what you consider the dark-side of sprint-car racing.......360's. I love how you reference everyone to being "Clowns" who happens to raise factual points or happens to disagree with what you say your "promoting." Anyway's i was wondering if you need a miner's cap and light to help you find your way out of Bernie Madoff's errr...i mean Guy Webb's anus. If so let me knowSmileand please i'd love to hear your answer to Powerslaves question if that's plausible.

First of all, what is "equal time"?  It's not a debate or publicly financed political campaingn.

Secondly, Rex LeJuene from Attica was on the show Tuesday and Brad Doty was on the show as well. He's supposed to be a featured attraction at the FAST Chili Feed deal today (which I didn't even know). Interestingly, neither of these gentlemen brought up the FAST deal during their time. I suppose that's my fault, too. I never "blackballed" Bryan from my show, regardless of anyone's interpretation. I was a bit ticked when it was brought to my attention that  on the FAST website, my show would be "doing regular updates on FAST" without getting my approval but maybe he was just over-zealous. He'll have his chance to explain what he's doing and why he deems it neccessary. I'd say that Mr. Farmer from Fremont will be a guest on the show soon, as well.

As for the WRG stock deal, I just found out about it myself on Thursday. I would expect a discussion with someone from WRG on the show soon. If you have questions you'd like to ask, email them to me at [email protected]. Get 'em in before the show so that I'm not scrambling to find them during the show.

You know, it's funny how everyone thinks I'm working for Webb. The first time I talked to him on the show, we discussed how he was going to pay the point fund and where he was getting the money. I grilled him pretty hard. Over time, we found that we both shared some of the same goals of where sprint car racing was going and that hasn't changed.

As far as the deal with the t-shirt guy, I really don't care. What news value does it offer? Let 'em fight it out in court. I'm not Judge Wapner. I DO know what happened regarding the two tracks in Illinois somebody mentioned and the REAL story is far different from what a vocal few would like for everyone to believe. So much for "equal time" on those issues.

Sounds like RacinBoys.com will be the voice of 360 racing as Scott Traylor hinted on their show Saturday that the ASCS audio will be broadcast through their website and that an upcoming weekly broadcast was in the works. Good. Then all the people who prefer 360's can get their fill on RacinBoys.com. They certainly don't have an agenda now, do they? Wonder if they'll give "equal time" to Thunder Through the Plains? Cerntaily wouldn't expect them to...it's all part of the business. They've got a job to do for Emmett and I'm sure they'll do it well. Everybody should be happy now.

Bottom line...if you want to support Webb and the All Stars, buy a ticket and have a good time. If you don't want to, don't. He's not going away anytime soon, despite the wishes of a few. As far as the Full Throttle Racing Show, I'm not changing anything unless I want to. If you have the balls to offer  alternative programming, jump in and take your best shot. All of you hyenas can do it better, I'm sure.

Now, I'm done with discussing these or any other topics through this forum with any of you. Anybody who wishes one-on-one discussion can e-mail me, as long as you are forthright about who you are. I'm not going to deal with cowards.

I'm out...

Interesting thread here...I dont know any of the parties involved but I have been around sprint car racing, wing, non wing, 410, 360, from Williams Grove to Knoxville and every where in between since the late 60s...In all those years I have never seen anyone get rich driving sprint cars for a living except for a few like Kinser, Swindell, Haud and I would bet they would probably dispute that...Wonder how much of their income comes from merchandise sales? In all those years I have never seen a track owner get rich from sprint car racing...Earl had tons of money before Eldora and I know he did ok when Stewart bought it but can you name any others? I have seen sprint car groups come and go, tracks open and close, teams come and go, and loved every minute of it. The FAST group appears to have a good idea and support in place and I wish them well. I wonder how many of those local drivers would like to travel with the All Stars if they could afford it? Never met Webb or Katich but I doubt their presence would keep a guy from following his dream if he could afford it. Bottom line is I am glad I have the passion to support sprint car racing just as all of you posters do and I am glad their are people putting in the time to run the groups and promote them..Whether I agree with how they do it is irrelevant to me as long as they have a passion for the sport...If we ever run out of people with deep pockets then our sport is in trouble because it is the owners who spend their money because they have the passion not because there is money to be made...Regards from Eldora country..

The only thing I will comment on is to say that the folks in northern Ohio do definitely support the All Stars, as they have always done since the very beginning. I will continue to support them as well. Attica & Fremont constitute a large percentage of the All Star schedule for a good reason.

Why do certain people seem to think that the All Stars & FAST have to be enemies?? It seems to me that they should be great allies, if these certain people would let it be. It's all good for our sport, and we should all work for what is good for our sport.

Once again, you dance around the issue. Any "reporter" worth his salt would have brought up the FAST deal when they were interviewing an official from one of the tracks that were participating in it. Laying the blame elsewhere for your shoddy investigative skills is simply a sign of a lack of said skills.

As far as your coward comment, I've posted my real name and location in this forum more than once. Infact, I know that atleast one time that I did so was in a thread that you took part in. I don't blame you if you don't remember. You have already shown your lack of attention to detail, so I have no doubt that you missed it. If you ever get your ass to Ohio to see the product that you claim to support, I'll be sure to introduce myself. You can let me know how much of a coward I am then.

Also, you act like building a website and running a broadcast is some great feat. Gimme a fkn break. There are millions world wide doing it atleast as well as you if not better. You havn't achieved anything above the ordinary and don't deserve half of the credit that you think you deserve.

Ok - I need to jump in here and clear up at least one issue. I have been at our Chili Challenge all day promoting local racing and our FAST deal, so I was not able to clear this up earlier today. I spoke to Mr. Katich at great length twice today. I apparently am not blackballed from his show as stated, though recent actions of others leading up to my earlier statement would lead one to believe that I was. Long story and we'll leave it at that. John has assured me that he'll have me on before the racing season starts to talk about FAST, its benefits to local racing, and the misconception that we're taking sponsorship money away from tracks, teams, and another series who does a fair bit of traveling through Ohio. Simply not true and I'll be happy to talk about it on the air with John. Additionally, I did make a statement that we expected John to cover a fair bit of the FAST results or happenings mainly due to the fact that his show supports 410 sprint car racing and regional racing. How many times has John brought up "the regionalization of 410 sprint car racing" on his show? One would assume that he'd be willing to cover it and I apologize for not clearing that with him first. That being said...we'll discuss these things on the air in the very near future. And just a note to Powerslave...Mr. Katich has walked the hallowed grounds of these Ohio tracks several times the past few seasons. Give the guy a break...he's not doing his show because he HAS to...and he has my respect for doing what he does.

The reason Mr. Katich has decided to throw the towel in on this thread is because he's been OWNED throughout the entirety of it! Whose the clown now that he's tucked his tail in and headed home?

Again, I'll take T-Dub's words the night before the show over what he said on your little thing you call an internet show.

Swamp, I wasn't aware of the "great ones" presense in our neck of the woods. You know me and have talked to me a couple of times. If I would have known, I would have introduced myself and had a conversation with him. The last thing I am is a coward and I refuse to be called one on a message board by someone hundreds of miles away from me. Notice, I didn't go on the attack until he did. I was simply asking him honest questions. If he can't deal with that, then he's in the wrong damn business.

I went to the Chilli Challange. In spite of snowy weather, the event was crowded. I was very impressed with the turnout, which included greats like Brad Doty, Kenny Jacobs, Jim Linder & Darl Harrison as well as the potential FAST racers.

Racer’s Chili Challenge Brings the Heat to Fremont

FREMONT, OH (2-21-09) by Bryan Autullo – F.A.S.T. Public Relations

The smell of hot chili filled the air at the Inaugural Racer’s Chili Challenge, held at the fair grounds next to Fremont Speedway, as the crowd poured into the Flower Building throughout the afternoon to support local racing charities and the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title point fund. A little bit of nasty weather didn’t keep too many people from coming to sample the 22 chili entries as the snow piled up outside. It was evident that the fans and drivers are getting anxious for the 2009 racing season to begin and seeing the BK Sears #20x car on display next to the newly unveiled F.A.S.T. show car had everyone longing for the roar of engines and the smell of methanol.

Celebrity judges Brad Doty, Kenny Jacobs, Jim Linder, and Darl Harrison made their laps around the chili pots with clip boards in hand taking notes to determine their favorites as the teams did their best to impress the judges with tasty chili and overall team presentation. The 3J Motorsports team won the 410 division as Colvin Racing took home the top prize in the 305 division. KCD Motorsports took the checkers in the Truck/Late Model division. WFIN’s Racing World won the Fans/Media competition and also took home the “Chili Chief” award for the most votes overall by the judges. The Best Appearing Team award went to Top Gun Enterprises. The “People’s Choice” award went to the 3J Motorsports team as they were voted the best overall chili by the general public. Extra special thanks go out to all the teams who participated in the Chili Challenge event.

There were several local drivers on hand throughout the day signing autographs and meeting fans of all ages. Host and emcee Brian Liskai, along with Scott Barman, spent the afternoon interviewing drivers and talking about their 2009 plans as many fans were introduced to these guys for the first time off the track. One of the goals of the F.A.S.T. organization is to bring racing charities into the public eye through interaction with the drivers and race teams who make it all possible. We’d like to thank all the drivers who participated in this event to help make it a success.

One of the highlights of the afternoon was the KS Sales & Service Hot Head Contest as six contestants downed as many Jalapeno peppers as they could eat in 5 minutes. The competition was “heated” and the minimum number of the flaming green death consumed was 9. Hot Shot Jason Tomczyk burned the competition by downing 15 and took home $50 in cash and a roll of toilet paper. The Computer Man, Inc. Rock-Paper-Scissors Tournament had 15 contestants trying their skills with 4 year old Sydney Shammo taking home the first place trophy. Cassidy Wilson was the runner up.

Greg Smith was the winner of the 50/50 drawing with proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish “Sprint 4 Wishes” charity and pedal car raffle. In all, the Make-A-Wish crew collected over $250. Although Racers Racing for a Cure were not able to attend this event, $150 was set aside from the proceeds to be donated on behalf of the Chili Challenge committee for cancer research. The Texas Hold ‘em Tournament was held to benefit the Hoserville Ohio charity for injured drivers and Todd Giteheff took home the loot. Through admissions, donations, and events throughout the day, Hoserville Ohio collected $700 and another $700 was donated to the F.A.S.T. point fund that will be distributed to drivers at the end of the season.

Hoserville Ohio and F.A.S.T. would like to thank all the people who came out to this event and all the people who participated in making it a huge success. Several sponsors helped make the event possible: Fremont Speedway, Alliance of Construction Professionals, Gressman Powersports, KS Sales& Service, Linder's Speed Equipment, Dale's Towing, Fremont Fence, Aaron's Sales & Lease Ownership, Computer Man Inc., Level Performance, Tireman, Great Lakes Internet & Computer Services, DPM Automotive, Hasselbach Meats, Attica Raceway Park, Fremont Shell/Hy-Miler, North Coast Security, Root’s Poultry, Wendy’s of Tiffin, Arthur Treachers, Engler Printing, UPS Store, and Painter's Supply.

This event was made possible through the hard work and donated time of the “Chili Committee” who did a fantastic job of putting this event together and making it a success. Darin Dukeshire, Crissy Carrothers, Scott Porter, Bryan “Swamp” Autullo, Jenny Leimann, Tera and Kellie Sears, Kurt Humbert, Craig Mintz, Lindsay Bowe, Ross Paulson, and Duane Hancock put forth a great effort to bring this event to the public. A great time was had by all and several great racing charities benefitted from this event. The Fremont/Attica Sprint Title also benefitted from the proceeds to help crown a “Fan’s Champion” in 2009. Get ready to enjoy some great racing at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway in just a few weeks.
