Acually the winner ran the bottom in 3 & 4 most of the race Sat. I wasn't there for most of hot laps. I only saw the 305's. They were running low 20's and few high 19's. I know these things because I was there rather hearing them through the grapevine.

strawser don't know what its like to be at a race track, he's got flo so he is in the know. Just cause you were there doesn't mean you know more than strawser, he is the king of commenting on races and tracks he has never been to. Once again, he'll tell us how sorry he is when we already know how sorry he really is.

I watched it on Flow.....ever heard of it?   It was a freight train around the place.  Yes, the reason the winner ran the bottom in 3 & 4 was because it took rubber!   That came right out of the winners mouth!!!   Very boring racing!!   I am talking all the way around one and two as well.  That is right they couldn't run the bottom there they would always loose too much ground!!

In warmups Logan Wagner was the fastest at a 17.2 something.  Talk about boring!

Frieght train where the 4th 8th and 9th car go 1 2 3... odd train.

The fastest car on the track crashed because he was impatient and just drove into fence while trying to imitate someone who he is not. At least not yet. As far as how many passes after lap ten. I wasn't keeping a score card but as usual after being proven full of it you move the goal posts.

Excuse me why I yawn.....it was soooooo boring watching that race.  TRAIN!!!  Chugga, chugga, choo, choo!!!  Nothing but a train!!

No he crashed because of track conditions!!!  Nothing more nothing less!!

So, the fastest guy crashed because of track conditions but the other cars didn't? What track were the other cars racing on?  You should proofread your posts before hitting post reply. It would save you a lot of backpeddling.

He crashed because he was trying to go fast on what should have been a cushion.  But that was non existent.  I will say it again.....the worst prepared track in the EAST!!!

If I wanted to see that type of racing I would go to an asphalt race.....not a dirt track!!!

Could happen every night if unhooked them with smaller tires and a wing angle rule, but would save too much money, make for too much passing and take the dirty air away.

Back to Weedsport and unhooking cars/tracks. Yes, they held their own nicely.  Seen many times 360s perform well in a 410 field and 305s versus 360s.  When the track gets less locked down, the racing gets better.  Weedsport was technical and relied very little on horsepower.  Unlocking the cars and tracks put in the driver's and setup hands for sure more than the biggest checkbook for a motor.

No, Weedsport was an ice skating rink all night long.  I watched it.  It was horrible racing.  I would never ever go to a New York track!  When you have to peddle it in time trials when there is less than 30 cars you better look at your track prep!!

I saw on the news a while back where they tried that with a freight train, it didn't work out very well.

Sounds like driver error to me. Is the guy a rookie, in his first year? The other drivers weren't trying to go fast where they knew they couldn't. Maybe in time, that rookie will learn.

We're already doing this in North Texas.

The 'Bandits Outlaw Sprint Series' features an 'open comp' engine rule, limits the top wing to 20 degrees, and requires a 92 (approximate circumference) tire casing on the LR, forcing race teams to compromise on stagger. The rules package frees up the cars, reduces areodynamic drag, and helps create an environment where race teams of all sizes can be competitive.

Parity among the different engine configurations is surprisingly good! In addition, the entertainment value, from a fan facing standpoint, is typically exceptional! Our events look and feel main stream, but put extra emphasis on driver and setup.

Below are actual results (facts, not feelings), by engine denomination from two of our races, for comparison purposes. We see these types of results play out on a regular basis. All three major engine groups already own 2022 feature wins in our series.

No thanks.....sounds like an ice skating rink all night long.  Very boring!

No need to change the wing angel or change anything with the tires.

I would feel cheated if I went to a show like that and was expecting 410's.  I would ask for a refund!!

Thanks Darin. Facts don't matter to some and to each their own. There is lots of money to go racing in PA and expecations out there are for sure different than most other parts of the country where 410s are dying. There are few that recognize this and even fewer who realize the root cause of why the average Joe can't participate and why the quality of the racing continues to go downhill.

Let me ask you this,if the track is always a skating rink at Port Royal and you don't like the place then why are you even watching the race on Flo? Oh and by the way I've been WORKING on sprintcars for 43yrs. and raced on plenty of rubber down race tracks back in the day.

Thanks for the facts proving what many are saying about locking down the power is more important than the power itself.  Some prefer drag racing, but us oval dirt race fans appreciate the info/series.

I'm not trying to be obtuse. Can you explain what this chart means?
