Kyle could probably find enough sponsorship right now to put a team back together. Put his merchandise trailer on tour with woo or even do a pick and choose schedule and I bet his merchandise sales could support a team.  Hendrick cars.Com are on the slm and the 57.

No Holiday Inn near me to sleep at, but..

that's on the order of 250 tshirts a night.

Likely poor numbers here, but take a fantasy walk with me;

$500,000 needed.   pay 5$ for shirts, sell for $25.  Race 100 nights.

[500,000/20] /100 = 250 shirts/night

The main point right now might be he is at the top of the nascar, game vying for a championship.

Distratctions are the last thing he needs.  He might just need to keep focused and go as fast as he can for as long as it lasts.

Old friend told me once ' when the driver gets in a groove and is on a roll, you wish there was a race every single day until the roll ends, cause getting on those streaks isn't easy and can't be wasted '.

But shoot, that's just speculation from a guy who's sitting at a regular job and wishing he had more than the 7 gallons of methanol leftover from this year so he could go to the first race next year without buying another barrel !  Lol, I for sure have no idea how these deals work out for the stars.

Dude, your a blowhard!!!

Thanks!  Trying to defend Kyle for not blowing money right now on a WoO team because it's his money, but thanks!  Much appreciated.

Thanks to Egras for the logical comments on this thread. I think you people wondering about Kyle, his money, and interest in owning a team are all dreamer type stuff.  I mean, I often wonder what I would do if I win a large lottery (something over 20 million net after taxes).  I dream about putting money into racing in some aspect (sprint car/410) but I also know full well that there isnt really a return on investment there unless super or ultra sucessful.  I find it odd those of you that dream or wonder about Kyle doing this.  Is it becasue we are out of options? Is it because you like having a dominant racer that is young and good looking involved in WoO?  I get it that we all like him racing becasue he is competitive and good.  But shouldnt we be rooting for the young kid that is just getting started (like Kyle once was) to come up on a cheap team and start kicking ass.  Or for the young guy that is making the jump from local races to WoO circuit.  Why we always focus so much on what Kyle is doing is beyond me.  I love watching him race.  But more, I love watching a really good field of 410s at a track.  Give me numbers over names.

Sounds like a good place for you to spend your lottery winnings would be in random position payouts chosen from p12 and back. Out some money into the non winning teams.

I M just being silly.

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

True.  So why is there this large group of Hosers claiming he should have plenty of money to run a WoO team out of his pocket for their enjoyment?

Could you provide me just one quote of a hoser claiming he should have plenty of money to run a WoO team out of his pocket for their enjoyment? It shouldn't be that hard since you say a large group of hosers are claiming this.

Read every entry on this thread.  It is a back and forth between those that think he is financially set, and therefore can restart his team at any time, and those that claim it may not be the best idea.  Did you read the thread or just skip to the end?

I was the plant supervisor in a CNC shop for 17 years and have been a CNC instructor at our local college for 7.  I have learned to deal with those who don't follow directions, so patience is something I have no choice but to have.  wink

I did read every entry. And you cannot back up what you said. You said there was a large group of hosers claiming he should have plenty of money to run a WoO team out of his own pocket for their enjoyment? I asked you to quote just one poster but you cant. Because nobody said that. Let alone a large group as you also claimed. 3togo nailed it
