This is a huge problem, Huset's just doesn't get a crowd any more at all. 410s, 360s, wings, nonwings none of that really matters, the end result all season has been the same.

You can say its lack of promotion but there have been plenty of radio/TV ads this summer and the SF media has always been pretty good to local racing.

I haven't heard/seen any ads for Hartford and that place is doing very well.

I was at Spencer last night too and the crowd there was much, much better then what I have seen at any Husets weekly race this year.

Not sure what the problem is but I hope it gets corrected.

I was at 2 of the USAC nights, very good racing, empty stands. I hope that event returns.

FWIW Husets is having a Lucas Oil LM race next year.

I  was at all 3 USAC races last week and also at Spencer last night, although I didnt know there was a race there until 330.  Spencer always draws a crowd, especially if they put the stock cars(and this year the Lates). Its kind of the nature of the fair race.  As far as running the show efficiently at Husets, I can remember one night the checkered flag for the 410s flew at 9:08 pm.  Ive always said, I dont want it to be a race to get a race in.  I just ask for an efficiently run program, and  I dont remember leaving Husets this year, thinking that they messed around too long.  well, maybe once.   There was a ton of competition for the entertainment $ last weekend.  I applaud Matt Wood racing for bringing this race to the upper midwest, and hope it continues. In regards to Husets Speedway, i'm pretty sure they know their deficiencies and will work on them.  Its a work in progress, I assume, and am very glad the joint is open..
