Aw, don't be such a wet blanket. I'm thinking it will be more like lower 40's. Besides, when was the last time anyone believed the weatherman?

80% chance of no rain and when was the last time you went to a race at Husets in May and it wasn't chilly...

Jack Dover in the #81 he frequently drives at Jackson.
Take a guess Cody Ledger shows up in #35.
Wear longjohns and you will be fine

Anybody remember watching Todd Mack win Cheater's Day in late October on a Sunday afternoon that was spitting snow?

Brooke Tatnell says he will be racing at Husets weekly in the 16. They got a good start at Knoxville on week one but their focus is going to be on Husets and Jackson in the 410 with some 360 racing in the 14. They said that they won't be making a lot of trips to Knoxville but not sure how often they'll be down there. Mark Dobmeier isn't cleared to race yet, car is ready and he says he feels good but doc is waiting for all clear on bone growth.
What often happens when teams have a choice is that they'll opt to race on short tracks and avoid the big motor half miles. We might see some of that now that racers have three options plus nearby IRA races like Cedar Lake tomorrow night. Cedar is 45 minutes from MSP, Knoxville is six hours down I35 for us.

Was there! We left the car outside of the trailer after the show... closed up the endgate, had a space heater and a bunch of coolers inside and we all (20 or so) drank until it was gone.

Actually car counts were very good!

former owner paid this purse with his very high interest pay day loans. He bailed out when state passed a law that reduced interest he could charge.

Thanks for sharing this earth shattering revelation, Neidra Newsflash, nobody knew that.

He has Cedar Lake figured. He has won in several cars at that place. I was there for most of them. We had a lot of fun in the campground after his JR Memorial wins. I miss those days.

Chucky lost his *ss financially in the 1 year he had Husets.
The payday loan law passed in South Dakota in 2016 was just an excuse for him to sell the race track
He also admitted that he never should have bought Huset's in the first place.

Other than having money to burn he had absolutely no business buying a race track.
If he had had half a brain he would have hired someone that knew something about racing to run the joint and stayed away from the microphones and cameras.
The only reason the guy has money at all is because he preys on people that are dumber than he is.

Not sure "dumber" is correct, possibly "more desperate" is a better usage of words. Thanks!

Thanks for the correction, your wording is probably more accurate than not.

The former owner is of course everything people say he is, but no matter his motives, or actions unrelated to it, he did take a dump that may have closed anyway and rebuilt it with his own money. Now you have a really nice facility in good hands. Let's hope Quiring can be successful with it.
