I know they're no longer in business, but here's a few names from years past:

Don Maxwell, Laverne Nance, Gary Stanton, Lee Osborn, Fred Cain, Grant King, Jerry and Keith Frantzen, Darryl Dawley, Ben Cook just to name a few...CZ

I have heard woldgang is the only builder that still will build a non downbar car . is that true?

I believe Dougs cars use a different approach (older style) to some of the bends rather than ressemble a traditional car of today , his construction methods are well thought out and make sence with a short visit with him, certainly not the largest manufacture, but one I would certainly go to for tayloring a car to the buyer , well creditable racer ,tuner, fabricator, and craftsman . proof is in the history...

Cool chassis are made in Australia and are still in production in a big way,

And for the Chinese lovers: The new "Quick Time" chassis which is realy making big inroads down under was designed in Aust and made in China.

Just for kicks cane you name all the different sprint car chassis manufactures that are out there, still in business, and how many cars they have produced and how long they have been around.

Viper chassis out of Southern California. I think they specialize in wingless stuff

Regardless of where there built ,there probably the safest car out there and WAY better welded than the most popular chassis brand ,,maybe not as good as JNJ or wolfweld but a whole lot cheaper ,just keep doing what a hundred other people have already told ,pound away on your Chinese computer go hang out in front of ur Taiwan tv on your foreign couch n keep preaching what a great American supporter you are ,

If that bullshit was true, then the top teams wouldn't still be running the popular chasis brands. Chinese manufacturing quality is not on par with US, Japan, Canada or Germany; nowhere close. Maybe when the US loses a few million more jobs or maybe when you're job gets shipped to China then you'll get a clue. Screw XXX and screw China- what are they doing to help diiffuse the North Korea situatiuon?
