The first few races of the late model series they drew some real good car counts but that has  leveled off some also the late model drivrers are not  as tied down as the sprint car like the woo sprint drivers are and 22 grand is good money the late models seem to be running for minimum of 40 thousand on a weekly basis.

Something I found interesting is that this race was sponsored by NOS Energy Drink. Don't they also sponsor some other sprint car series?

There is so much going on with the Late Models that it's hard to keep track of it all.  Hell Tour, marquee events, Flo weekly series, regional series holding big races and not necessary to commit to WoO Late Models.  All the speculation and conspiracy theories aside this new Sprint series will increase the number of weekday races and give some local teams a chance to make a buck.  The World of Outlaws drivers not being there gives somebody else an opportunity.  There is three days of WoO racing coming up starting tomorrow so there is plenty to watch or chase if circumstances allow.  Life is good, racing is doing well.  wink
