It was intended to give the teams another race on the way to Skagit. Nothing more, nothing less. It would have been super to get more cars, and have a track that didn't eat tires, but one or two clunkers in an 80 plus race schedule will happen.

I think it has to do with geography
The 6 local cars were probably 360's because that's what they race there.
The "only 1 410 car in the state" comment is just ignorant. Husets Speedway had 24 410's last night. The extra 410 at Black Hills Speedway last night was Kevin Ingle, the only 1 410 in Huron S.D. He did about as well as he usually does in these sorts of situations.
Back to geography...
Black Hills Speedway is on the west end of South Dakota. Husets Speedway, which has a weekly 410 program, is on the east end. They are about 360 miles apart. Who could justify driving 720 miles round trip on a Sunday night to get trounced by the WoO drivers? If you owned a team, how much tow money would you have to have to make to make it worth your time?
I think the next 410 track going west is probably on the west coast.

Both tracks 360 miles apart racing the same night doesn't help either.

Washington state is the one with only one 410 car, Jason Solwold. I brought that up. I don't think anyone made the statement that South Dakota has this problem.
To correct myself, I believe Robbie Price in the 21P raced last week in California in a 410. No idea if Trey Starks in the owns his own 410 motor. I don't know that he owns his own car.

Austin Wheatley? Tanner Holmes from Oregon? Would think that Abreu, Netto, Scelzi and maybe a couple others would make the trek? But who knows

With the exception of Rico, no CA cars will be at Skagit.. (doubtful).
That is due to the scheduling conflict with a huge 2 day show at Chico called the Louie Vermeil Classic also a King of the West points race for us.
So, there's that.

22 cars at Skagit for the first of a three night event. Better than expected. I'll be there tomorrow night.
