Track was actually too fast in the feature - leaders basically turning qualifying times until they got lappwd traffic... That was the rain's fault though. Better than nothing! Some drivers ran out of tearoffs the mid was so bad.

Yes, the rain did throw a curveball. However, the track was awesome. Two grooves in the feature. Couldn't ask for anything better. Very good night of racing! Some of those sliders for the lead were something. Aarron making it 3 wide to take the lead....right before someone laid it on the side. Great night of safe racing both on the track and on the grounds of the speedway.
Thanks T-Mac and Lori and everyone that was involved for putting on this show!

How did this end up working out? Was everyone able to get into the site and we're there any issues after finally getting logged in? I hung back and didn't order the PPV or follow along online. If other sanctions and tracks follow this model I'm wondering what happens with my all inclusive $150 per year with Floracing for IRA, All Stars and USAC? Accusations of being cheap aside I'm retired and purchased the service I could afford back in February. That could put me between a rock and a hard spot if that purchase is invalidated by the fine print as I can't sell my accountant on a revised plan after assuring her that would be my only racing PPV purchase of the year. I know this hasn't come up but it will eventually if this no fans PPV model is the only way racing can happen for at least the first half of the season.

I finally got on and had no issues at all once we were on. I thought the racing was great even though the rain throw them a curveball.

I saw the rain in the forecast and was following the NFL draft. Like everyone else I prefer live racing but I'm in the high risk age group and manage a health condition so even if they open to fans I'll probably stay home until this thing passes through. Hopefully there will be some racing before the end of the season so I can watch IRA, All Stars and USAC. I'm not watching the iRacing or classic race reruns so I'm not getting any value out of my subscription to Flo. Reruns and computer races don't hold my interest so aside from checking in here there isn't much new to follow.

Anyone else having issues getting on the website?
|
We had all kinds of trouble getting on, then when it got on it scrolled on and off and went off screen all the time. This was on a 75 inch TV. We then tried a lap top computer and it came in perfect. Why. What do you need to do to 75 inch tv to make it work properly?

Ethernet if possible or a firestick and let that do the processing.
Some SmartTv's are a bit notorius for crappy software on the smart side.

Yep, we tried to watch one of the streaming services after getting rid of cable, downloaded the app on the smart tv and It was horrible. Buffering constantly, so much so that we dropped the service. Then we realized that watching the streaming app on amason fire or Apple TV was perfect.

Fire stick is the way to go. Download the internet browser app and it works great. Also Flo has a built in app for the fire stick. Lucas Oil does also and I think dirtvision is working on one.

I was using a Fire Stick last season but I have a Roku TV hard wired to internet and Floracing added a Roku App so that is what I am using now. If I were to purchase PPV with one of the services that has not made a Roku App available I would use the Fire Stick. I use a wifi signal booster for the fire stick in our lower level where I watch racing that gives me a strong wifi signal. In spite of having high speed internet and the signal booster I still see some ocassional buffering and screen freezing but only when watching racing on PPV. I have even had those kinds of issues with the hard wired TV. We stream all of our TV including live sports and the only issues I ever have are when I stream dirt track racing but have not been kicked off for the whole night in quite a while so racing PPV is improving with each season.

It worked great for me once I got through. I ran it off my laptop which I connected to my tv with an hdmi cable. Never had a buffering issue.

Anyone know the number of ppv that were purchased? I got in after time trials. It took about 6-7 min to log in and get the feed. It was a long wait but you just had to be patient

Smooth up here in Canucksville, well done Speed/Shift and TMC!
I never waited until the last minute to log-in, I wonder if those with problems waited too long?
Crossing my finers there will be another and soon.....

I logged in seemlessly right before hot laps and had zero issues all night. That was a neat track and great surface considering the rain. The feature was really good especially with the speeds they were running. I sure hope McCarl made money because I needed that fix bad and look forward to more in the future.
Cheers!

Where are you located and who do you have for internet? I'm in Forest Lake and have Midco and their service has been flawless for everything except PPV racing. Most nights we're streaming two TV's and a lot of the time surfing the web without any issues. Racing PPV is the only thing that ever buffers and freezes on my system. It's not every race all of the time but when it does happen it's always racing.

I love tracks like that with open back straighaways. Does anyone know who any of the photographers were? I bet there were some great shots of the sunset - it looked great over turn 2.
