You're right about Noffsinger, he was CRA champ back in 86/87 and ran some Silver crown races as well. I too was suprised to see him listed not only because he's retired, winged cars were never his thing. Maybe when he did the stunt driving for that Jeff Gorden Pepsi Max deal ha, never mind.

Brad Noffsinger was one of three brothers racing with the California Racing Association years ago. He drove one season in Winston Cup for Mike Curb in less than second rate equipment. He also did some USAC Silver Crown -- remember seeing him in an accident at Phoenix International Raceway in which he sustained a broken wrist. Believe he's been an instructor at one of the driving schools for a number of years. Also believe that he raced some of the Ford Focos powered midgets in the Carolinas a few years back.

I was at PIR when Brad hit the wall damn near head on in turn one in that Silver Crown car and he was lucky, real lucky, to have come out of it with just that broken wrist.... Man, he hit that wall a ton!
