Freschetta is the best, the only frozen pizza I ever had that had plenty of sauce. Newmans is pretty good too but lacking in the sauce.

It may not go too far west, but Eldora sells Hunt Brothers Pizza and it is really good.

Their breakfast pizza is good also.

Not familiar at all with frozen but some of the finest I've had in my travels were; High 5 Pizza in San Jose (big sprint car supporter in it's day as well) and Tasos right in the heart of the Sprint Car Capital, downtown Knoxville. Locally, Cheap Charlies in Port Huron MI is in my top 5 of all-time as is Frank & Gus from my hometown of London, ONT. If you are ever in Washington, DC and are visiting the grave sites of JFK and Bobby not too far away (we found it walking around the place) is a little bar/restaurant the name of which I can't remember but the pizza I'll never forget, best I ever had! Take It Easy...

Red Baron, then Tombstone, then all the rest. Just like an old saying about a certain part of a woman's anatomy, " There isn't such a thing as bad frozen pizza. Just some better than others." As far as fresh made, Minsky's (several locations in the Kansas City area,) have to agree with Casey's, and MSPN beat me to it with Taso's on the Knoxville square. As far as Hunt Brothers, what would you consider it? I'm sure it's frozen but they already have it heated for you in the convenience store and is good, especially the flat bread crust. Flying J truckstops have a pretty good, already prepared, pizza, too.

California Pizza Kitchen, BBQ chicken. A little pricy but it's damn good. Of course the Casey's breakfast pizza is great for a hangover when your in Knoxville.

What about prices, kinda curious here.

I mentioned Frank & Gus as one of my fav's but a Medium, extra cheese and pepperoni is about $22 while the regular place my kids like is $9 for the same pizza, which is about half the cheese and half the flavor as F & G. How much do they vary where you live?????

PS Before some moron complains about this subject, just pretend we are at a race in a rain delay and chatting amongst ourselves about a wide range of topics other than the depressed one, the fact there is currently no racing due to rain....

Don't shop at Walmart unless I have to Grady, and never for food.

Do you think Gaunt will be in Massey's #2? He's good friends with Charlie.

P.S. Sorry to talk about racing on the Pizza thread, but I just couldn't help myself.

Pizza is like sex. Even when it is bad, it is still pretty good.
