I am pretty sure I saw that Bud will be in Bakersfield. I think it was in one of his press release's.

Won't be Kahne. It'll be Smoke. I don't think Kahne will be in a sprint car much, if at all, while he's driving for Mr. Hendrick

kasey will race in at least 4 woo events this year. he is promoting the 4 race "kasey kahne challenge" this year across the midwest and east coast and is scheduled to compete in them.

That may or may not be the reason for that plan but the way the forecast is looking it's not a bad plan.

The biggest 'surprise' to me this weekend is the weather forecast. According to the Weather Channel a high of 61 today in Chico while it's going to be 81 up here in London, ON, CAN. Weird, huh....

I actually do not have a dog in this fight because I won't be going but if Sammy can win without having an opportunity to be an A$$ you may be surprised to that I really have no problem when he wins. I would love to hear that Sides wins and if I see him parked around town I will definitely buy something from him as I love that guy. I don't buy or wear too many t-shirts but I definitely want to see that guy stay on the road.

Wow sides really.... I wear many of racing shirts, and i have not yet, nor will i ever, buy a sides shirt.... This guy is nothing but problems.... If he wins the law suit, they should do to him like they did to wolfgang.... YOU DONT SUE THE SPORT YOU LOVE AND COMPETE IN! PERIOD!

No opinion on Sides one way or the other...but Wolfie. The sport you love and support should not let you sit in a car and burn! And other drivers should not have to save a drivers life. There should be safety people there that are trained and capable. Wolfs lawsuit brought change.

Do you know what you speak of? he used a plastic pin that melted in the steering wheel. It melted, they couldnt pull the pin cause it melted. Who put the plastic pin in to save weight? Again, you dont ever sue the sport you compete and abviously love..... PERIOD! And it was Brent Kaeding that pulled Donnie out the car at chico, why, cause the saftey workers there didnt have the right saftey equipment to battle the high intense fire. Yea times changed, how many promoters accepted Doug Wolfgang threw their pit gates after he sued?

Saving weight WAS, IS, and ALWAYS WILL BE a big deal in all forms of racing. Was Wolfgang the only driver there that day using a plastic pin?

We will find out in a few hours. I'm about to take the 3.5 hour drive north to Chico. If your not going to be there, you can catch the action on dirtvision.
