The Kid is a PUNK!!!! Yesterday at the Lincoln Icebreaker Cody and another driver get together. Spinning the other car out Cody kept going but had something break ending his day. After the feature Cody goes up to the driver that HE spun out (who was able to finish the race ) and punches him in his face. WHAT A PUNK!!!!!

That was actually in his heat race. He tried to drive THRU some spun cars in the feaure.

if cody's family team didn't sign with woo they can race where ever they want. that is a separate team from KKR.

it is usually the teams that contract with woo, not the drivers. there may be exceptions to that where a driver contracts, but that is the way i understand it.

i don't believe there is anything keeping a driver from racing with another team where ever that team wants.

now if a driver who normally runs with a woo team skips a woo race to run someplace else, there could be trouble!

The driver AND the team have to "sign"... driving another car even using a pseudo name is a violation in the elastic WRG "contract"... skipping a race, yea that wold be the kiss of death BUT it happened with this team last year..

Last time I saw Darrah, there aren't that many sprintcar drivers that are small enough for him to go after...

He still has not had his one and a half bust his ass that brings these "hot shoes" back to reality. Little Ricky used to be the same until he had his. He is living proof that with work and respect for others anything is possible!

Actually he threw a punch as he was quickly turning to hurry back to his hauler. He only managed to hit Danny in the neck. Had he faced him head on and if Danny wasn't worried about the long term points, I think it would have been a slightly different outcome. Even as others came to the 48 hauler I think they quickly learned that car owner Gary Kauffman is someone you don't really want to mess with. Just glad to see Danny was the professional driver/acting individual in this instance.

You can take a Darrah out of the trailer park. But you can't take the Trailer Park out of a Darrah.

I was there as a friend of Mr. Darrah's and seen the whole issue go down. Skinner did you actualy see this or like the rest was it hear say as Kauffman never left the trailer and Danny pushed Darrah before he got hit and the crowd seperated them not themselves! Your a photgrapher did you get any pictures? Darrah ask Danny why he drove him like that and Danny pushed him. Danny was clearly wrong on the track turning down on Darrah just like his interveiw in the AARN he stated he would take one out if he didnt like the situation. Darrah came from the rear to pass Danny for 4th on the bottom and was almost passed when Danny turned down blowing Darrah's tire out. let them trash it out skinner and slink51 you handle your own issues I truly believe Darrah can hold his own if needed. and to listen to this guy talk last night he has some issue!

Back to the real deal Any track that runs outlaws can be run on without permission as long as they are not running else where. Darrah's plans are to run local as much as he can and have the car at knoxville for runs when availble

I like the passion myself...maybe that's why hockey and sprint car racing are so great, they're both intense!!!

And you will fine out he is a heck of a nice person. I agree, he does get a bad rap on this board. The funny thing is there were never anything negative said about him until he got the KKR ride.

Sean Michael comes to mind.

I like Cody and I am glad he is will be driving in PA a couple more times this year. However he does come off as a bit of a hothead sometimes.

Very little personal experience with Cody but I talked to him once in 2010 after the National Open. He wasn't racing, still healing from the broken leg. But he was very nice, signed and took a picture with a little guy I had with me. Chatted for a while. I was impressed by him that day.

It's all about jealousy! Some of the people do not have a life of their own or are just plain ignorant of the want to succeed. like the smitty51 he has not got a clue as the whole statement he wrote is not accurate so he could not have been at Lincoln on Sat or was he just plain too drunk to see?
In Cody's incidence the APPLE does not fall far from the tree as his dad is just as determined and has shown his hard work has been a successful endeavor. These guys can be the nicest guys in the world but take a shot at them and you will have to deal with it! OLD School all the way. Im just happy we can see him run a couple times above the outlaws schedule without traveling.

Actually, Smitty51 has got more of a clue than you think...He was smart enough to stay home and not be forced to witness such a Spanktacular performance by the said individual... wink

These things are no big deal, T. Mccarl and Hewitt have thrown a few punches. Would you go up and call them PUNKS. It gives us something to talk about and that is it.

Darrah clearly took Danny out and he shouldn't be so quick to throw punches at the locals since he will again be one next year after Kasey unloads him! He is no better than last year hitting everything but the pace truck and flag stand! Saturday's lack of class is one of many reasons his car is bare and unfunded by a major backer!
