How about the Kinser Klan?

Karl-Bob-Steve-Sheldon-Mark-Randy-Kelly!

With a bonus chapter or two about Dick Gaines-when he drove for Karl!

Lots of good suggestions and at least six or seven I'd buy right away. Gotta say Karl Kinser would be at the top of my list though.

Other possibilities: Jerry Richert, and Earl Wagner, the Weld family, the Blundy family

Yes Al Hamilton would be a good one. Fred Rahmer, Steve Smith, Bob Weikert.

That would be great to see Dave halp Weikert write a book. After that maybe he could turn water into wine too.

I had a chance to speak to Bob Weikert a couple of times, but never had the chance to really pick his brain!! I would buy that book the minute it was available. His victory lane interviews were great whether you were cheering for his driver or not!!!

Suggest Dave write his next book about Don Smith. Don was the promoter at the Terre Haute Action Track for many years. He also owned many of the cars Gary Bettenhausen (and others) drove. I have not seen it but I understand Don Smith owns a large collection of race cars.

Don Smith is also a distant cousin to the late Tony Hulman. I think their grandmothers were sisters.

I second the votes for Karl Kinser and Shane Carson. Karl may be a bit more popular/mainstream -- but Shane can/would tell some GREAT stories - most of which are totally true. wink

KEVIN OLSON....between his humor and unending barrel of stories and Dave's talent that would be the best racing book in history.
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

I would like to see a book on my good friend Jeff Swindell and how he grew up in the shadows of Sammy. A completely different person and pesonality from his brother and had to work a little harder for his success , but he became a good racer for sure.

Other than a driver, who in the sprint car community should Dave Argabright help write a book next?

While my experience/exposure is admittedly limited compared to a lot of posters on this board, I personally would love to see a book written with Bob Trostle or flagman Doug Clark.

Who would be your pick(s)?

How abot Louie seymor......the first million mile travling USAC team!!

I could handle a book on Paxton, Bobby Allen, and especially the Man from Mifflintown, Keith Kauffman! Kauffman and Weikert would be my two preferences!!
