No I don't. There were a lot of people there that day and things went dirt cheap!

I wasn't sure if he ran an alum car on Pikes peak, but it sure looks like he did. I have a lot of pictures of Al running there but they are all in the steel frame. Grandpa saved the steel frame in the shed for a long time and he pulled it out one day and we used it to build my first car.
Would you please email me these pics? I would love to have them!
Thanks
Bryon

So when yardfun went through the Nance shop in the late 70's, and saw 2 aluminum frames, he must have seen this and the 4-bar? I say this because Shane didn't own the 4bar until he got it at the auction.
That would make the count like this-
1- 4 bar alum (1977) ...dirt oval, banned at Knoxville- still exists
1-coil over front-alum (1979)..Pikes Peak only-still exists
1-4 bar aluminum (mid 80's)....ran occasionally, demolished when it hit a lightpole across the street from Nances shop
1- Titanium 4-bar (1990's) ............ran occasionally and then sold a couple of times until it ended up in Kansas- still exists

You have to be logged in to right on photos so you print them or save to your files. But you can print them just be logged in.
