I will be leaving this hole I call South Dakota in March for the WoO shows in Hanford and Tulare. I am mega pumped to see the Thunderbowl! Anyways, I was wondering if there was anyone in the area that could tell me the best way to get from Hanford to Tulare. Im only 24 and I can't rent a car quite yet, so I have to use other forms of transportation. All I have come up with is to get up in a drunken stumble at 8am that Saturday to get on the Amtrak, go back to Fresno, and then take the greyhound from Fresno to Tulare. It's not that big of a deal, just consumes most of my day traveling, and was hoping to avoid that. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Like the post above said you need to indicate where you are coming in from and be clearer on how you are getting here, where you will need a ride, etc. Hanford /Tulare are not close to any major airport.

Flying in? What airport, Burbank, Sacramento, etc. or taking AmTrak to California?
then once you get to California how are you going to get to Hanford? Bus? train? taxi (a bit expensive), etc the airport is not close to Hanford/Tulare.

Once you get to Hanford you probably wouldn't have a hard time finding a ride to Tulare. But after Tulare, everyone usually will be heading home after the races or early morning.
Now how will you get back to the train station/airport?

I think you need to post: example:
Flying into Sacramento on Thursday, can anyone pick me up and put me up for the night? and also help me get to Hanford/Tulare and then back to Sacramento to catch a flight out on Monday.

I'm sure there are a lot of people that would help but would need more details.. and maybe if they head to South Dakota, you can help them one day.

good luck.

I believe the guy just needs a ride to Tulare, not a travel agent. It seems like he was just asking the best way to get to Tulare from Hanford if he didn't have a car. Heck if you had a bike you could take the back roads to Tulare no problem! lol. The track is on 10th st, go two blocks east to 8th st, then south to kansas ave and east into Tulare as one example. Heck if you started walking at noon you could darn near be there by hot laps. lol. As long as he gets to Hanford he will find help.
