FYI, they are not Clydesdales -- they are Percherons and are bigger than the Clydesdales. Smile

I'm not picking sides... BUT $20.00 for a 410 show is VERY reasonable, IMO. I, for sure will attend a few!

Do you just bang your head against the wall all day long??? Sure seems like it to me. If all you want to do is bitch, then don't GO! It won't break my heart when you eat crow after the Antioch races is over and they had a very good turn-out. Seems to me you are just pissed that KWS is trying to keep for 410 wings alive and is willing to ante-up some extra incentives for the boy's to race for. I commend Dan Simpson for putting his neck on the line for this deal to succeed.

Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

I hope they have extra people for the long beer lines.............lol! I will miss the races at Antioch as we would take the Bart in from Oakland and tailgate in the parking lot before the races. The new higher banks and wider track make for a decent show. $20 is the right price for a 410 show that only comes to town a few times a year.

lol. you mad. kws has stuff planned. a clydesdale pulling a cart or a pickup truck throughing fire crackers or dancing clowns do not make me want to go any more than the last half of thelist of regulars. you guys keep high fiveing after another "press release". just because they post 20 times a day on every message board around does not mean its going to be any better then last year. its a sprint car race. dress it up any way you want it. the same names are still there. and now it costs more.funny thing is now that you have your mind set on bashing me there isnt anything kws can do to ruin a great night of racing in antioch even if the checkers are thrown on lap 6 and 12 cars show up, you guys will be saying at least its different then last year even if it isnt.

The racing was great last year! How many races did you attend? Just curious, you only have 51 posts, just how interested are you in winged 410 sprint car racing or racing period? Come on out and watch some of our races, we have the greatest guys/gals racing our series and we will be adding more and more as time goes by. GSC did have its issues internally the last couple of years but that was not the fault of the drivers who remained loyal to the series and had no control over what and how things were handled. Under Dan Simpson's guidance and with Gary Thomas and George Hague helping to run the series it will be great I have no doubt.

What about a $800.00 dollar airfare to fly down from anchorage to watch the outlaws in Las Vegas, Chico, Tulare, and Hanford you don't hear me wining. And when I did live in Chico I was at Friday nights point races, and Saturday Golden State Series no matter how far I had to drive.

Dear Mr. Random Guy?

With your in-site and unique knowledge of West Coast Sprint Car racing and acute knowledge on how to rejuvenate a series, we here at the Golden State King of the West Series would very much be interested in your Resume.

I'm sure with your extensive travel around the country the last year you are ahead of any of us here at the KWS office. Although did not see your name at the Promoters Workshop, PRI, IMIS show in Indy, Knoxville Promoters Meeting or the 410 Promoters Workshop in Pittsburgh PA. We were there with other promoters talking about how to better the sport, I'm sorry, that goes against anything you believe.

Your invalid statements and speculation shows just how uninformed you are.

I truly feel sorry for you and will pray for you tonight as you must be a miserable person.

Here is the KWS show car outside "The Gym" located in Rio Vista today. Look for the car to appear in various locations around the "Delta area" in the weeks leading up to our opener in Antioch on April 9-

I just want to be at a race! $20 for 410s is fine. The guy in the seat is still spending way more than I am to sit in the grandstands so you wont hear me bitch about the gate. I hope all the promoters can make a few bucks so they can afford some community PR and keep people from trying to close our tracks. How the heck are you guys? I miss you. Glad to see everything is the same here. Can't wait for the season to start. I've still never heard Gary call a race! The Antioch skyline crack was pretty funny. You have to admit...

I think most of you know how many issues I have but my only gripe with the KWS is: Why Antioch? Other than that anyone not interested in stepping up and strapping into the saddle should just stay where they are at. Less people in the beer line that way.....Best wishes to all involved with the KWS. Hope to see you a few times this year. Probably at Chico.
