Couldn't have said it better. Considering all the things people want to say on the internet about how dumb this was, and how stupid that was, we all have to look back at when we were "kids," and think about all the things we did that worked out ok, but really, in hindsight, weren't the most intelligent thing to do. We ALL have that in us. Most of us made it through it.

I've jumped bicycles off of riverside cliffs. I've driven a Plymouth Colt Vista over a set of triples at a buddy's motocross track, only to auger the front end in to the ground and send 3 of us through the windshield. I've done things that anyone could say weren't in my best interest, to say the least. Like I said, most of us have.

We've lost another member of this racing community. That said, we should all take a step back and be thankful for what we have, who we have, and what we have in store for us.

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we at XXX must bid farewell to Tyson Perez. A great man that touched us all with his larger than life persona, skill and loyal friendship; he was taken all too soon in a tragic accident. We are better for knowing him, and have had the honor to be a part of his life. He will not be forgotten.

We'll miss you Tyson.
