I'd bet the farm that there will be a fly over this year. I thought the huge helecopters were the coolest so far. Slow and loud, gave you a great chance to really get perspective of how big they are. This is just one of those "can't miss" events for sprint car fans. When they put dirt on Bristol you had to be there...When they ran the Mopar Million you had to be there.....This is the 50th Knoxville Nationals and you have to be there! I live in Knoxville and the whole town is pumped up for this race week. I hope it's a standing room only jammed packed party.

Lefty, I cant get over how the town seems to absorb the influx of visitors, to me, everyone seems welcome , and in a respectable manner , (Ive tested the keystone cop) truely, a place I would take the kids to visit, kinda reminds me of home, just ALOT more sprint car enthusiests at arms reach, although, we will lock up our unattended coolers this year ! never the less, lesson learned , trouble is would have happened at home too ! you cant leave beer unattened while your betting the farm, they just might drink all the beer! lol

I heard the fly-by would be Tony Stewart in his plane flying in to catch Saturdays features.

What would be really cool would be about 25 John Deere each pulling a 30 foot trailer loaded with corn circling the track!
TSA...It's not a GROPE...it's a Freedom Pat!
