* Kickstandz Bike Night October 25 - Spectators riding in on a motorcycle on October 25 only, will be admited for $5.00 for Grandstand General Admission ticket. Regular price for GA Grandstands is Adult $15 Kids 5-16 $5 Under 5 Free. Pit Pass is $20 all ages. Kickstandz Motorcycle Shop is located on Broadway in Mcloud, Oklahoma.

Here is you chance to display your racers, talk to and meet some new and existing race fans and perhaps find some new sponsors. This will be a super fun event for everyone I believe. The weather typically is beautiful this time of the season, and tons of people walk this event held in McLoud, Oklahoma.

All Motorcycle and ATV Racers that compete at the OK Corral during the AMP Outlaw Winter Nationals are invited to join Kickstandz during the 10th Annual Chili Cook Off held in Mcloud, Oklahoma on Saturday October 18th. They have a special area where you can display your racer in front of the Kickstandz building on Broadway. First come first serve for a space to display your racer. Event begins around 8am with the peak crowd around noon. They had around 2,000 people walk the show last year.

Times for the Chili Cookoff appear to be 8am with car show judging at 3pm. Parking is a problem, but there is space on the side street to unload and find a place to park your haulers a few blocks away. Please push you racers to the display area, no engines run on the City Street unless you are ready for a phat ticket. If you need to leave before 3pm, no problem, but I would suggest being there early if you want a good spot in the display area which is around 6 car parking spaces in size.

#2 Marcie Long, the 2004 AMP Open Pro Quad Champion will be racing Saturday night at the OK Corral Indoor Arena. Long will be racing on his well known #2 Yamaha Banshee sponsored by Erics Off Road. The field of riders for the Open Pro Quad class continues to grow and includes three Quad Pro past champions, #81 Gary Rhodes 2007 Champ from Ada, Oklahoma, #069 Nico Lee out of Coalgate last seasons AMP 250 High Point Champion, and #2 Marcie Long from Sapulpa, Oklahoma plus last seasons defending AMP Open Pro Quad High Point Champion #99 Ryan Early from Choctaw, Oklahoma. A new rider in the Open Pro Quad Division is Daniel McGuire from Shawnee who is last season's Open A High Point Champion. McGuire moved up to the Pro division this season, leaving the Open A class open for a new Champ to be crowned.

Registration opens at 4:30 and closes at 6:30, Hot Laps at 5:30 with the first green flag for heat races at 7pm.

Very sad news from South West Oklahoma, long time dirttrack motorcycle racer #21L Roy Dail Hinkle from Lawton, Oklahoma passed away over the weekend at his home in Lawton. Our family of motorsports prayers go out to his survivors, friends and those touched by his life.

B. RACE RULES

"k. If a race was stopped because riders were down, the first rider
down is placed last in the restart, etc., with the last rider down
behind the last rider who did not fall.

If for any reason a rider does not complete the red-flagged lap, he
too will be placed in the rear of the restart in a position respective
of his stoppage. If the race is called complete the riders will be scored
in the position in which they would have restarted."

Collins, Bostic, Osburn score wins at OKC

129 racers representing 3 states battled atop the Indoor clay oval track at the historic OK Corral Saturday night. In the Pro Pit Bike class Chance Osburn took the honors winning the NOS Energy Drink Dash for Cash.

The race was the third of fourteen rounds of competition slated for the ‘08- ’09 season for the AMP OWN indoor short track series. This annual point series is held from October until April each year, and is open to all ages. Fifteen divisions of classifications including Youth, Modern Expert, Amateur and Vintage are then divided by rider’s ability and by engine size.

With mid 50 degree temps, 9 riders in two qualifying heat races attempted to qualify for six spots in the night’s Dash For Cash sponsored by NOS Energy Drink. Chance Osburn from Chandler, Oklahoma swept the Pro Pit Bike field the entire night taking the checkers in all three paying events including the NOS DFC, and the 10” and 12” Xtreme Mains.

125/250 A was packed full of up returning class high point champs including Justin Elswick. Elswick wearing a super nice looking helmet painted by Pro Hemlet Designs from Tulsa took the win over defending AMP OWN Champ Peyton Simpson. Following a re-start that involved several riders going down, the race was on. Peyton Simpson, held on to defeat the defending 08 Champ brother Dylan Simpson, to win the Open A division taking the gold back to Chandler, Oklahoma.

Open Pro Singles class saw Jeff Bostic making a charge to the lead at the green light start and holding off all contenders to take the win. Brian Collins was back aboard the Green Machine Kawasaki and had a tremendous battle for second place with Chance Osburn down to the final checkered flag of the night.
