Justin, your understated enthusiasm and broad knowledge will be sorely missed in the booth. I for one truly enjoyed listening to you the last eight years. Good luck to you in whatever the future holds.

Justin,
Thanks for all your help with our NOS promos this summer. It's been great to work with you guys! Best of luck on your upcoming nuptials!
Keep up the great work with Flat Out, and I'm sure we'll see you around next year.
Chris
On a side note, the staff at Knoxville has been absolutely wonderful to work with the past two summers. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, and I'm lucky to have gotten the chance to work with all of them.

It's been a pleasure working with you the past few years, Justin. Your dedication to the sport is unquestionable, from the efforts with Flat Out to the commitment of commuting from the Twin Cities to Knoxville every week. Hope you enjoy your Saturdays, and again, congratulations to you and Whitney.

Justin,
It has always been a pleasure bumping into you whenever our paths have crossed. I remember when you first came on the scene, living the life of a gypsy so to speak, traveling from track to track, sleeping in the back of your car, going without a shower or shave for days, living the life of a free spirit traveling down the road to your next adventure. Ah the life!!! Well buddy, it's time wake up and smell the coffee.....THOSE DAYS ARE OVER PAL!!!!!
From now on you will be staying in fine hotels, be clean shaven and showered at all times!
Really, congratulations to you and Whitney (she is a lock for Heaven now). Marvin Gardens will sure to be heartbroken as you still owed him one as I recall.
In all seriousness, you are one of the people that our sport needs more people to be like. As JG and others have stated your passion is immense, obviously Whitney sees that in you, and she is a lucky gal as well.
Mari and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this October. It has gone by in a flash. There have been good and bad times. Successes and failures, love and anger, but I can tell you one thing for sure. I have never been more attracted to and in love with my wife than I am today. We have been blessed with two wonderful children and a few sprint car races along the way. Marriage is not the end of world, but rather a beginning of a new life. Respect each other, cherish each other, and grow together. I wish for you two what we are so lucky to have. Most of all if I could give you any advice, it would be to approach your marraige with that same great passion you possess....always confide in her and trust in her......I wish you all the best!!!!!!
Your sincere friend,
Mark Burch

What a great post, Mark!
Justin - re-read Marks' post! haha Not all of us girls expect control like the picture posted earlier showed (hey, I thought it was hilarious though). Marriage is a two-way street and will be difficult at times but so very worth it. And you will still have racing even after marriage! There is more to life than racing though and I wish you and your future wife all the best. You're a neat guy, great announcer and Whitney is lucky to have you! Good luck! Zoch:
You can't just quit announcing at Knoxville that easy. We'll have to have a attitude re-adjustment period this Saturday night after the races. We have the next two weeks of sprints and the late models Nationals to work on you about this so called retirement.
By spring she'll be ready to get you out of the house.

It's a sad day for Kville fans. Justin, you have been a great announcer to listen to every week. With your quick wit and smile, you have brought so many things to Kville Raceway. Your knowledge of all of the drivers near and far amazes me. We always know we could count on you for correct, up-to-date information.
Good luck to you. You will be missed...
Thanks for all you have done!
Julie

Bokhoven has got enthusiasm for the sport you can not ignore. We have enjoyed both of them but to call enthusiasm "ego" is not a fair statement. As far as yaking up sponsors .... it is no doubt part of their job description and that is what helps pay the biggest end of year point fund any dirt track in the country pays and is the envy of every weekly dirt track in the world.

I dont know about the envy of every dirt track in the world. It is great but I am certain it isnt the envy of every dirt track. Ever been to a bullring race? There is actual passing and racing going on every week at small tracks. Knoxville has the hype and prestige but lacks in the racing. IMO.
Cheers!

Name me one "bullring" track that pays their champion EVERY year OVER $15,000.00 in CASH for winning their weekly show championship. I won't dispute bull ring racing is exciting but that was not what I posted about. What about all the great products handed out to maybe even the 20th place guy like a new set of heads or a complete chassis kit? You need to work on your word comprehension

If it was all bullring racing, it wouldn't be special. I love pizza, but not 2 meals a day every day. If you want, we can add up all the cars the top 3 in points passed over the season and you would be surprised.
