I believe Rod is saying that the All Stars do no not place any kind of limits on their teams to run non-All Star sanctioned shows, whereas the Outlaw teams are only permitted to run 4 races ouside of WoO sanction, and that was only granted this past year.

We pitted next to Shark Racing several years ago in Minot, had brief interaction with Logan and Jacob throught out the night. Good kids.
Nobody needs to know why Jabob stepped away. There's a saying that goes like this. 'Keep doing what your doing till its not fun anymore' And this espcically holds true to racing, at some point it doesn't become fun amymore whether it because you start losing money more than you like or you just plain getting tired of the grind it creates along with drama. Traveling all over the USA all summer long has its draw back, some think its a dream, well, if it is, go join a team and find out.

Holmes had a solid night and looked pretty good. Dash draw definitely helped him out for the feature. If he gets an 8 he probably finishes 8 to 10th.

I agree completely, but couldn't you say the same thing about 80% of every WoO race. I think the feature is usually won by pulling a 1 or 2 out of the hat...

Yeah I agree slick willy. That Dash draw can make or break your chances at a win.

My guess too. Only people with the last name Allen get to drive the 1a. Heck, even Joey had to drive the a1 lol.

1a, a1, 1m, 2a those come to mind, all associated with the guy that started it all.

I have a question for you guys that seem to know the intimate details of Tanners financial backing and the funding of the 1A now 1T
How in the heck do you know "The seat was bought" as has been stated here ? From what I am told, he impressed the heck out of Shark racing with his driving ability with him only having 3 seasons of racing Winged Sprints. When Jacob decided he wanted the rest of the season off Tanner was offered the seat. Can anyone sounding off here prove differently ?
The older I get the faster I was

No one really knows the deal here. I don't think Bobby would put somebody in the his car if they weren't capable.

Everyone has to start somewhere and Tanner was impressive all three nights at Jackson. Sprint Car racing costs a lot of money and sometimes drivers contribute resources to new teams, sometimes they don't. Worrying about the details of their choice is like going to a strip club and spending the night listening to the strippers tell how they're putting themselves through college and how much they make on a good night. The action is on the stage, racing is like that in that the action is on the track. Some of us are losing focus worrying about everybody's money but their own wallet.

What didnt age well? If you are talking about WIlliams Grove the whole shark team struggled not just Tanner. Tanner has had a few rough nights in the car but has had a few good runs as well. But hey go ahead and pass judgement on a kid, who hasnt even ran 1/4 of the Outlaws schedule.

Works out great for the All-Stars as they have very few drivers that race every show..................

Pretty much spot on once the season is all said and done. Plus kind of harder for the All Stars to justify doing it than the Outlaws. Considering all but maybe 3-4 events pay more than a regular outlaw show it would not be the best look to tie down your drivers to running only your shows. But when you have multiple shows that pay more than $20k, including a $250k, $200K, and $175k to win shows it is a little easier to say you can race 4 non sanctioned races but no more considering you are getting pit passes, tow money, point money, and contingency awards.

Makes perfect sense to me.........................not sure why it's still so difficult for some to comprehend.
