Several thoughts:
- The Outlaws come to PA next weekend, where Macri in the 39M stands a great chance of winning some good $.
- Isn't he the/one of the winningest drivers in the country? Just recently cleaned house during PA SW
- Would imagine he and Dewease are pretty good froiends. The Kreitz 69k had to cancel unfortunately, so Lance was maybe looking for a ride at Eldora these next 4 days.
- Would all of Macri's sponsors be OK with him leaving that car the day of the richest sprint car race in history, and a week before a PA WoO swing?
.....I think it's April Fools come early and they are just putting Lance in a second car.

Time will tell.
Let's go Sprint Car Racing!
Knoxville - Best Track In the USA!
Eldora - 2nd Best Track in the USA!

Bernie Stuebgen rolled out a second 71 Indy Race Parts car at Eldora and offered Macri the ride, but Macri turned it down and has told others that he is staying home.

As I said earlier, this is just a bit concerning and lets just say I hope Anthony has some friends/family looking out for him.

Maybe it may do him some good to go drive for another owner he may then realize just what he has with his Pops which is an arsenal of top notch equipment like noone else in the country!

That is a bold statement...So you are saying he has the best funded team in the whole country? Are you sure about that, what are you basing that statement on????

Probably in PA, definitely not the whole country. The top outlaw teams have the biggest budgets and best equipment but the 39m is pretty close.

Macri said in a interview with Jeremy Elliott that he is done with the Nick Macri 39M. He will not return to the seat of that car. He plans to take two weeks off and then get back in the seat.
The two options i see for Nick Macri are keep Lance in the car for the remainder of the the season and kinda combine the Kreitz 69K and Macri 39M teams. Or get some young gun like Tanner Holmes. Most likely to happen is LD stays in the car for the rest of the season.
As for Anthony he is 2nd in HLR so i would assume he gets in the 71 Indy Race Parts car for those races and for local racing he either takes over the Heffner 27 or the Dyson 20.

If Anthony ends up in the 27 that is definitely the definiton of going from the penthouse to the outhouse!

Sometimes in a family situation it all comes down to work ethics. If that's the case there's no telling what mite happen to the 39. Self funded team, a young driver, that is really starting to show he can run with the best of them. His phone is already ringing, problem is, will the equipment and crew chief be capable of running up front. When his crew chief left to bring his own team back they struggled and brought Bernie in to get them back on track.

They brought Bernie in for one weekend and hit the ground running and kept on winning. Got another new crew cheif this year and kept on winning.
Your memorie must be fading if you remember them struggleing.

Strange time to need 2 weeks off. Too much pressure on a kid?

So what is he supposed to do? Jump in the first car offered without waiting and considering any other offers. Most of the good teams a little busy this week.
