At first I thought the exact same thing, but we have to remember the logistics. Port Royal was orginally scheduled for Sunday while Kyle was racing at Charlotte. Lawrenceburg fit perfectfully into his schedule and like others have said, he does not have to race sprint cars for the money this season. Probably given a choice, he would race exclusively with the WoO idf his busy schedule permitted.
|
I'm sure this is why. Larson likes Port Royal and while he's not necessarily racing for money, Silva certainly is. Had the schedule worked out, he might have chosen Port.

Larson probably wanted to race against the best of the best. So he chose the outlaws over the allstars.
They still can land planes anywhere in the USA. So I doubt they wanted to race at the Port on Monday

He? You mean the guy that starts a thread with an elipsis? Not a fan of doing that so someone has to click on your thread to see your hidden message. Sort of a dick move in my opinion.

Fair enough. My response was harsh looking back at it. Apologies. I will try to do better in the future.

Your statement just shows how what we are witnessing now is awesome! Since you put him in with some of the greatest of all time. Kyle is once in a lifetime type driver for me, since I was born in October 1968. It took 50+ years to see this type of greatness again!

Please forgive me that my public apology wasn't enough. In the future I will be sure to send you a personal note as well.
I guess I get that you opted to respond to my post with your judgemental respone before reading down further and seeing that I had already offerred a public acknowledgment that I was too harsh. It happens.

Well, I was one of the few or maybe the only one on the bandwagon of "He's never proved he could win consistently in NASCAR, why get to excited about him returning even if it is to HMS?". This year has been amazing, I've enjoyed watching him this year. Last night showed that it wasn't JUST equipment (HMS is head and shoulders above everyone right now) but he outdueled the defending NASCAR champion in equal equipment. Amazing what he's doing, hopefully he can keep it going.
