What does 4th pay?

Oh that's easy depending on if you are talking about a standard purse event because it hasn't changed in years. $2700 WoO & $1400 for the All Stars. Varies by track & by week though at the local level

Any Word if Kyle is running Lincoln speedway Sept 16.. Good paying show and it looks like alot of All Star guys are going to be there. Any idea other than the Posse. Madsen boys? Gio? Plan on going and hope its a good show.

According to Lincoln Speedway Twitter,  Kyle Larson and Lance Dewease will be in attendance tonight.   I'm not sure about the rest of the week.

Tonight - $6900 to win at Lincoln.
Thursday - Baps  $5100 to win.
Friday - WG    $5000 to win
Saturday - Lincoln Dirt Classic  $20,000 to win.      (Dewease attending)

It looks like Larson has comitted to both Lincoln races and Williams Grove. Somehow I can't see him sitting out on Thursday, unless he would have issues tonight at Lincoln.

Meanwhile the guy who started on the pole won his 140 main event at the speedway and his 7 Tuscarora 50

Lance has 115 wins at Port Royal.  Get your facts correct.

Great that he ran all four last week if he wants to win 50 as he said at Baps he will have to run just about any time their is a race.

Would love to see him at Selinsgrove for the Nace ,Outlaws at Lernerville same night but a win at Selinsgrove would complete the Pa. sweep Grove,Lincoln ,Port,Grandview and Baps  he has won at Lernerville already but is o for one at Selinsgrove.

Conversely, and despite my user name, I'd foot the expenses for him to go to Lernerville if I could. Not that he needs it, but as an incentive to get the heck out of Central PA.

And, if the 15 car is ahead of the 57 again - like it was at Lernerville in July, it will mark the second time ever that I rooted for the 15.

Larson has got to be up to about $100K or more in Central PA money by now - a lot of that money would have otherwise stayed home. That's gotta be having an effect on my homies.

Jus sayin.

question.....Whats does Baps stand for?  Is baps and selinsgrove the same track?  Sorry, if this is a dumb question, to some of ya.

another question...best time for a trip to pa?  Speedweek?  Favorite tracks in PA?  Planning on a trip to PA in the next couple of years and need to know.

BAPS Auto Paints & Supply is a local chain of Auto Paint stores headquartered in Central Pa. They secured the naming rights for the old Susquehanna Speedway which has been transformed from an old beat up joint to a state of the art 3/8th's mile track. Selinsgrove is a fairgrounds track located in Selinsgrove, Pa. A big true half mile, and some would argue the fastest sprint car track in the east. If you want to get a flavor for sprint car racing in Central Pa, Speedweeks is the place to be. The purses have been raised and you usually get packed grandstands, and a whose who of outside drivers vs the Posse.

We'll see where he ends up. I saw Wayne County's outlaw race is now 15k to win on Friday and Larson usually runs really well there so I could see him there on Friday then much shorter travel to run Lernerville Saturday but BAPS race is 20k

Baps is the old Susquehanna.

If you have a whole week and want to spend it in Central PA, PA speedweeks is cool. If it's just a weekend, you can't beat National Open or Tuscarora 50.

Susky/baps is hardly a "state of the art" track, its still lipstick on a pig. Selinsgrove is the raciest half in PA.  Speedweek is ok for visitors, not great, lots of follow the leader and front row winners.

The boy is mired in a terrible slump and has to be questioning everything right now, including maybe putting someone else in the car who can get the job done.

This is good. Thank you.

We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Kyle McFadden posted on twitter yesterday that Kyle and Paul Silva are taking the weekend off, next up the National Open.  Maybe that changed, but, FWIW.
