I would love to see some races closer to my home..............Dubuque, IA, Farley, IA.  They've tried the last 2 years but Mother Nature was the clear winner.

Moberly, MO.  That track is almost identical to Mansfield with some massive banking. Promoting there has been poor with recent sprint shows with little advertisements. Facility is so so but good enough for a great event. Would pull a lot of Missouri cars and Knoxville regulars and could have the WAR series as a support. Would be a can’t miss for me. Oh and by the way dump the water to the track too. When that high bank is juiced up the racing is awesome. Rubber down or no cushion results in zero sliders.

There is no way they are ever going to Big Diamond with the facility issues they would have there(ie. no catch fence in 3 and 4 with a drop off down the hill.)

Georgetown would still need major facility upgrades as well.

East Bay is going to close soon unless someone saves the place, so I doubt that is happening.

Albany might work, but they need bigger bleachers, plus I'm sure if he thought he could get a WoO date, Howie Commander would much rather get them to come back to Lebanon Valley where he will make more money than he would at Albany.

Has any race car ever passed another one at Lebanon Valley? Its pretty rare, as far as i can tell....

Its probably to due with marketing. How many people will pay 35 to watch outlaws when you can watch Ascoc for less . A few different drives but is the racing guaranteed to be better? Probably not.

Its is a saturated 410 market.

Cant speak for everyone but as for myself and everyone in my friend group, we would gladly pay $10-15 more in general admission to see the WoO. Only thing I'd worry about it parking at Wayne Co.

How about tracks that are up to par on their safety.

Ok. I'll take the locals opinion. I guess the WoO would be special even if you got 410s all summer and the Ascoc tour each month. It's the group you dont get to see so maybe many would cough up the extra.  Then what is  a possible reason the WoO stay out of Ohio?

Even though I may not know you, I
care what most of you think!

I'm not sure it's ever happened in a Sprint Car race.

However, I will say, Hearn and Tremont have probably passed thousands of cars in the modifieds there over the years, since the shows are handicapped.....but I get your point.

Howie would still rather have big shows there than Albany, he's got full control of the property, better parking and probably twice as many seats to sell.

Right. While we are spoiled by weekly 410 car counts and plenty of ASCoC shows theres nothing like the WoO. They are the best in the world and I love watching them. Also fun watching how our locals stack up against them.

The racing at Wayne County is great, I believe the facility and lack of parking is what keeps them from getting a WoO show.  Sharon I'm not so sure... I haven't been there yet in 2019 but from what I've heard the new clay and track prep has been 2nd to none. With the track's rebirth and having an owner like Dave Blaney maybe he could get a date for 2020.

Lastly I wonder whats next for Mansfield. Rumors are Cody Sommer's lease expried and isn't renewing for next year. Hopefully the place ends up in good hands because theres tons of potential there.

The answer I've seen from WoO about going to other tracks in Ohio is usually along the lines of, "There are already 7
(or 6, 8, whatever it actually is) dates scheduled in Ohio.  We don't want to oversaturate the market."  What this response fails to account for is that all but 1 of those dates is at Eldora, which is in the far west central part of the state (it's closer to Indiana than 99% of Ohio).  Wayne County is at least a 3 hour drive away, Sharon is even farther.  Fremont, Attica, and Atomic would all be between 2-3 hour trips.  Not every sprint car fan drops their regular plans to run to Eldora every time the WoO shows up there.  So it's a bit unfair to be "worried" about oversaturating Ohio when you're really only oversaturating 1 county out of 88.  This is why there are political conspiracy theories about Tony Stewart and Eldora when it comes to additional race dates in Ohio.

Have seen the explanation about the 7-8 Dates in Ohio as well, along with the countless conspiracy theories about Tony, Eldora, and The Outlaws. The other thing is that a lot of the WoO schedule is copy and paste from the prior year. For as long as I can remember for a couple of decades the Outlaws went to Eldora for 2 dates in either April or May, then 2 Kings Royal Weekend dates, then 4 Crown. They recently added a 3rd day to Eldora Kings Royal Week and rumors are going around that it could be 4 days next year. Point is that it seems that the Outlaws will give the tracks that have supported them and sell tickets first offering on if they want to keep their dates which is smart. Eldora & the Outlaws sell tickets and have a history of success and I do not see a reason to take a date from them to give to another track just because they have too many.

I do however believe that they could add some dates as they have in the past as in years prior they have had the same amount of races at Eldora while having races scheduled at Attica, Lima, and Fremont. I believe this happened on several occasions when they ran Attica in the spring, Lima for BDC, Fremont in the fall. I would say that they would not hurt the market if they added a 2-3 dates to Ohio Tracks along with PA in the markets that have a strong following. It would be a little bit more benefitial than going to some tracks where they get 23cars and only part of the grandstands full. Book a date at any track in Ohio & PA you will have 40+ cars and standing room only in most places.

WoO has already put some dates for 2020 up and Kings Royal weekend only has 3 days listed.

i don’t think anyone is really saying take dates from Eldora. But saying Ohio gets enough dates is disingenuous when Eldora is hours away from all the other tracks.

What are some tracks you would like to see the World of Outlaws visit next year?

For me:

Lincoln Park

Bloomington

Route 66

I would love to see the WOO back at Grandview.  I don't think I ever saw a bad Sprint car race there yet.  Always exciting!

Thanks for confirming the 2020. Someone had told me at Attica about 4days again next year but you never know who you can believe.

I agree saying Ohio gets enough dates is disingenuous when Eldora is the one that gets 90+% of them and only 1 other track gets a date. My comment was more about the people I see on social media stating that It's Eldora/Tony/and the Outlaw's fault that no other tracks can have an Outlaw date, and that they should give some dates up for other tracks. That to me is ridiculous when its more of just poor planning and business tactics by the sanctioning body.

People will always show at Eldora for the Outlaws especially the type of shows they have (Kings Royal, Lets Race 2, and 4 Crown). But they also will show at Wayne County, Sharon, Attica (proven), Lima (Proven and if it doesnt rain), Atomic, and Fremont. I think a Lernerville, Sharon, Wayne County 3 day show would be a great little schedule boost for the Outlaws.

Atomic assuming they’ve fixed the turn 3 deal.

I don’t think Deer Creek has been on the tour for a couple of years.

Cottage Grove is a cool track but west coast car counts are now an issue.

The new Vado Speedway should definitely have a date in 2020.

I would drive to Cottage Grove to see them. I've never been to that that track, but after lousy races at Willamette two years in a row I'm ready for something else. The car counts are a big problem that I don't see a remedy to.
