Why do so many tracks start paying the same amount for positions in the last half of the field? What incentive do the racers have for passing & racing if there is no gain in prize money? And at tracks where points are based on money earned, again, what is the point in passing/racing?? Every position should pay a different amount & wiith the age of computers, don't tell me it makes it easier for the track accountants. Fans want to see a full feature field racing for every position and not start to see the last half of the field doing start & park because there is no incentive to run all the laps.

They have been raising the start money without raising the middle. If it keeps up everything after 5th will be the same pay. Don't get me wrong any purse increase is good but I'm on the same page that all positions should pay different.

You're suppose to race for the win! The object is to get into the better paying positions. That's all we need is a bunch of idiots racing over their head because 18th pays $50 more than 19th....SMH

Excellent info thanks for sharing it. I had NO idea K-Ville/Badlands/NSL pays this much better then Pennsy/Ohio tracks, I am a bit surprised more racers from that area besides Polyak havent made the trip west yet.

Thank you, I've now added the MOWA purse to the spreadsheet.

Badlands pays $1000 for quick time and I believe the other $1000 or $2000 is split between 2,3,&4th quick. I'm sure on the quick time. Not positive on the next 3

They do, but I'm only including A-Main payouts. No bonuses or contigency prizes. The time trial payout is included in the source link under the A-Main payout for Badlands.

Thanks, really interesting info!
Pretty sad that Kokomo & other wingless tracks pay less than half of the wing purses, some of the best racing....
