I wish Dustin the best of luck and hope he makes the most of this opportunity in the Forbrook #5. In the process of this transition to the new shop and crew, I think it would only be right to show respect to those how have helped along the way. The letter that has been floating around the message boards thanks several people, but I think a personal call from anyone in the Lindquist/Loucks Racing Association to the mechanic who has been with the team for the past two seasons is not out of the question. I have talked to Brad, and as of Wednesday night, nobody from the team has contacted him in regards to his position. Last I knew, as much as this is a hobby for some, it is also a business and I do not know many businesses that can survive when they treat employees as such. It is part of the racing business to move on and take opportunities when they come your way, but to treat the people who helped like these guys have is not.
I wish Dustin the best and hope to see him race this summer, doing well for Forbrook.
