Two of the 12 races pay $50,000 to win and $2,000 to start. One race pays $32,023 to win and $1500 to start while the remaining races pay $23,023 to win and $1500 to start. I have not kept up on the series and this is the first time I've seen the purse structure(Speedway Illustrated May issue story about the series and Sweet and Larson). Seems like a lot of money being thrown around.
Do the WoO and the All Star series' purses take into consideration huge overheads?? which the High Limit series does not have much overhead in comparison????? Just guessing, actually no idea why they can pay these big purses all the way thru 24 cars. Again, that's a lot of money(High Limit purses). Looking for information I don't have and can't understand. And these races are on weekdays when people are working. Probably a simple explanation that this mid 70s age group guy does not have.
Just a huge fan of sprint car racing as well as most other racing.

Does the high limit have a full staff of announcers And tech inspectors and front office and promoters and media people.

All great questions and observations. Everyone wants to be critical of the Outlaws, and praise the High Limit series. I think the High Limit series is great!! However, it's great because it's small and confined to a limited number of races with great payouts! Will it succeed? We'll find out if and when a 2024 schedule comes out. It cannot co-exist with the WoO if they expand their schedule, and run events in proximity to WoO races. It won't work both series as they'll be splitting the fan base. If they keep it small, their overhead will be low, and they'll get a smattering of Outlaw drivers throughout the season and possibly keep the car counts high.
That said, the High Limit Series would have to turn into a replica of the World of Outlaws if it were to expand to something like the WoO schedule. Overhead. Committed drivers for 9 months. Then what? Is everyone gonna hate the High Limit series too? They should, because it's gonna have to be run exactly the same in order to succeed nationwide, for nine months, and 70-80 races.

What makes you think they want to expand?
So far so good with present plan...
Their races have been MORE entertaining than Outlaws, so far..... bigger car counts, less predictable, more variety of drivers & teams

High Limit thus far has been fantastic! Going myself in a few weeks
But I wouldn't say that the racing is better. Outlaws at Haubstadt the other night was as good as it gets.

In the big picture the WoO truly is the greatest show on dirt! Hopefully the larson limit series never try to go head to head with the outlaws. It would be bad for the sport IMO! Been going to WoO shows since the beginning........long live the outlaws!

The High Limit series was made for streaming service. There is a reason why they only race on Tuesdays and have no weekend dates. While they may expand thier schedule, it does have a cap on how many races they can get in during the week.
Now how in the world does the streaming business model work is beyond me. I don't see how there is enough money in the streaming services to subsidize the purses like they are.

I'm good with the present plan as well....................however, this is America, and it is a capitalist society. If it's profitable, it's only natural to assume they will want to expand............maybe I'm wrong. It would be wonderful if they kept it as is and ran a dozen Tuesday night races throughout the year with high car counts, and excellent sales at the gate. To realistic though, they will either expand or contract as the years go by. I doubt they will be satisfied with staying 'as-is.' To be honest, I doubt they put this in motion with the hopes of staying stagnant over the next decade.
